I wanted to go with this but I couldn't. I needed to change the background color. There is no forum and the developer said you had to pay for a background color change. I was willing to pay and contacted him but I didn't hear anything back. Given my time constraints I could not go with this solution. I achieved a similar functionality with the ninja icons with a couple of hack.

It's really cool in horizontal mode, but not very clear in the param configuring of the other modes:vertical or square, user may run into trouble. And in edit icon menu, the article lists left appear too long without a rolling bar for control. Without inconvenience above, I'll rate it for 5 stars!

The module is perfect.

This is a very cool component - the only trouble I've had is that it conflicts with something in Uddeim, and also has trouble with Joomla 1.5's native SEF. If somebody navigates to a category within a section, the iframe used to display the menu draws a 404 error page. Should be a simple fix though. Also, it's got a white background - which is a bit annoying as I'm sure many people would like to use it with colored backgrounds. I altered the SWF file as well as the module file and the html file calling the SWF to make the menu transparent. I'll email this to the developers and see if they can make that available someplace on their site. You can see my menu at
