I needed a easy system for bringing up a lists of meeting minutes (pdf files) from our local schools and city councils. Jumplink installed easily, set up four different categories for four dropdown bars, and started entering the link. It works very easily and my client won't need any programming knowledge to maintain the lists.

Good plugin! I do have a feature request. If you could integrate this into the Joomla menu system content as well as just straight up links, I would grab it in a heartbeat.
Good work!
Good work!

great small extension. How can the module be changed to do a 'auto-redirect' using the OnChange method? Now the user has to use the 'go' button. I noticed that most of the navigation with pull down works with automatic directs. Have some code modifications available?

Autodirect now supported in v1.4

Hello,
I tried it on 1.5.8 joomla installation with sh404sef and Sentinelle plugin.
At first, I have published it on just one page and when it clicked "GO" it sent me to my homepage but not to the link it was supposed to get me. So I thought it might be eather a problem with sh404sef or sentinelle. I disabled them but it didn't helped. Then I published the module on every pages and then the redirectin works well. This work find for me since the dropdown will be on every pages.
It works perfectly when published on all pages. Very good module. For me worth a 5 when the bugg is fixed.
Keep up the good work,
Frederik

Installation = not a problem, but it doesn't show anything in the dropdown-menu... As I understand it, you need to create a new category within the component for "Web Links", called "Jumplinks". Even so, it doesn't show the other categories either...

It seem like you are using it correctly however I cannot explain why it doesn't work for you...What version of Joomla? I would need more info to resolve your problem.

This module does not respect the published / unpublished status of listings or even categories from the WebLinks extension.
When choosing a link and clicking the "GO" button the link opens in the same window. You may want to consider having the link open in a new window.
Also, you may want to add in the ability to filter links based on a particular category or categories.

Published and unpublished now respected in v1.1. Also added the ability to open in new window (requires javascript). Also added ability to display only links with the weblink category 'Jumplinks' or to display all weblinks from any category. Full category support will be considered for future versions.
