Subsequent updates to content (publish status, trash status, category assignment changes) are automatically reflected as you'd expect in the site menus. When an article is deleted, so is its corresponding menu item.
Plugin parameters allow for finer-grained control over the menu item/content synchronization, and allows for automatic menu alias creation.
I have tried this extension, and followed the instructions and it wouldn't work, so I went to the developers website and on their contact page it says "We're always available, 24x7! By phone, email, and singing telegram. (Go ahead - test us.) We welcome the attention, it gets lonely in front of these computers all day."
I asked for help and was told basically they don't intend to take time of of the day to figure out why it won't work.
I understand that this is a free extension but support I have had better surgical stockings.......

I am so delighted with this plugin - I've been on a complete goosechase trying to find something to do this. There are some other menu admin components, but they are insanely complex.
I needed something that wouldn't confuse frontend users. This is so simple and perfect.
The lack of this as a core feature is a huge downside to Joomla IMHO. And a major reason people would choose Wordpress etc.
Thanks to the guys at DeRose - this is the very welcome indeed.

This is a real time saver.
All you do is create a category, then you create a menu with the exact same title.
Then all future articles that are added to that category are automatically added to the menu.
Once you set up the category and corresponding menu, it works right out of the box -- for all future articles.

Makes my freaking life easier. Instead of two things this plug in gets the task done in one swoop. This is great because I do frequent updates for customer sites and my own projects. Awesome!
Awesome little plugins. This takes care of two problems at one time:
1. Automatically adds new content items to menus.
2. New items inherit module position settings of existing items.
This will save so much time to not have to manually add new content to submenus and then also have to remember to go into module settings to add the new item. It's great to find such a simple solution.
One important note: the plugin only acts on NEWLY created content items. But once you get all your existing content items where you want them, the new items will fall right into place. Very cool.
