I really love the fact that I do not have to make duplicate articles to have them appear in different sections of our extensive website.
I was disappointed not to receive any response to my email and phone messages for help so I have to figure it out myself.

PROS. Is THE only multicategory for Joomla!, and works well and as promised. You will have multicategory function.
CONS. ONLY works till Joomla! 1.7, after that, when I did upgrade to 2.5, the component broke! So be careful.
NOT UPDATES!! So youll have to buy another license to download the new version wich make this THE MOST expensive component I ever bought (and I have bought a lot)
AVERAGE SERVICE! Not the best support.
CONCLUSION: Is a good component but has yet a lot of space to improve. Really expensive if we compare cost-benefit.

The forum is dead (and fully spammed).
Don't expect to have a answer!
We send a lot of mail to the support, and we have only one answer.
And we try to phone to them.
They say (in the website) : "We are available 7 days a week to support our valued clients." This is wrong!
This plugin look like abandoned.
And this extension seems to be work fine, but it isn't.
There is no master categories.
The master category for article seems to be hazardous.
So when you clic on a article, it open, but not in the categories that we want.
And it is impossible to turn back !
So you know what to do...
I am sorry you had a less than stellar response to our component and the support. We understand support is crucial to components and to that end we have recreated our forums, I'm working toward putting in all the needed content and keeping spam from being a problem. All you have to do is resintall the component. When you upgrade Joomla, it overwrites our component. All of the multi-category setting you had previously setup will still be there, you just need to uninstall and reinstall the component.
This is because we edit the core Joomla files, and when you upgrade Joomla, it overwrites these files.
Please feel free to email me if you continue to have problems.
It is seems that this very good component is abandoned.
Therefore I offer to make this component free for use. I have programmer skills and can develop and support this component under GPL. This is very important for future usage of this component, especially due to new version of Joomla 2.5 is almost ready.

Sorry Albros, we are very much still in business. We are getting our Joomla 2.5 component ready to go. We have sold 100's of these components with very few problems.
I am sorry, my notification emails were getting sent to spam. This component is not for K2, this component is for Joomla multi-categories. We have a k2 v2.7/J1.7 version of the K2 multi-category component available, just email me and I will send it to you.
Immediately after installing you can assign multiple categories to articles in edit article mode and you will see each article in the relevant sections.
However! Now my latest articles module isn't working correctly - showing only articles from one category out of the five selected from the module menu. Upon noticing this I tried to contact/email support with no reply whatsoever. Their forum is completely dead. Posting on there was a waste of time.
I noticed why the problem is occurring and feel it could cause a load of problems in future. As for me, I'm not going to use this. Quite dissatisfied.
I never see this before.
There is also a forum, but don't expect a answer.. it seems that the forum is dead !
And for the extension, be carreful if you made a update of the joomla core. The solution is :
When we upgrade joomla 1.7.2 to 1.7.3 :
You need to uninstall and reinstall our component whenever you upgrade joomla.
The multi category info is in the database.
So I hope the multi categories will be in the next release of Joomla (Joomla 2.5).
Food (catID 1)

You organize them like this:
Bananas (Food, Fruit)
Cherries (Food, Fruit)

You make category blog menu items:
Food
Fruit
Vegetables
Bread
If you click on Food, all of the articles will appear. If you click on one the articles (or readmore):
The article appears as it should.
The parent menu item is Food.
You can navigate through the articles using Prev-Next.
If you click on Fruit, only the articles included in the Fruit category will appear (as they should). However, if you click on one of the articles (or readmore):
The article appears as it should.
The parent menu item changes from Fruit to Food.
If you navigate using Prev-Next, you will see all of the articles in Food, not the articles in Fruit.
This is because, when you click on the article, it grabs the article's catID with the lowest numeric value regardless of the category from which the article is called.
If this OK or a non-issue for you, I would recommend one of the non-commercial options. They'll do the same thing, so why pay?
In my opinion, this deficiency makes this component completely pointless. Why go to the trouble of cross-referencing your articles if the user will be taken to a completely different section of the website when they investigate an article in a category that has drawn their interest?
As far as support goes, I don't really want to get into that, but suffice it to say I am not sharing this info because the support was fabulous. The developer is aware of the issue, and I guess has chosen not to complete the component. Good enough is good enough if it keeps pulling $50 a pop, right? To his credit, the developer did offer to return my money, rather than work on the problem.
If you are wanting to create a true cross-referenced library of articles, keep looking. I am.
However, it does not work as advertised (i.e. ability to filter articles in modules) and it seems that the developer has abandoned the project, seen how the website continues to have issues and support requests are not seemingly handled.
I would love for the project to be picked up, because multicategories are badly needed.
It also does not work with the News Show Pro GK4, which I was expecting, as it was promoted with, working with "Your articles & modules will now be able to appear in multiple categories."
Also already waiting for a support reply for 12 days!
We sent you an email regarding the component not working with all 3rd party plugins. There is no way we can support that and did not mean to imply that it does. It works great with all standard Joomla articles/modules. We never said it worked with 3rd party plugins.

I am sorry I paid for that extension. And I suggest people use other ways to accomplish the same (K2 for example)
I wish I had and I also wish someone could answer me either how to solve the problems I got or how am I going to get my money back
I recently bought this extension and I'm really unsatisfied with it considering it's quite high price. Since there is no front or backend demo, here are some weakest points of this extension for me:
-can't asign multiple categories in frontend
-can't filter article within all categories that article is assigned to
-if article is assigned to more categories (ex. 3), there are no 3 URL's, but just one
Maybe all this is possible, but I couldn't done it because there is no documentation and nobody replies to my support tickets or mails (have open 3 tickets for 14 days now and sent 3 mails...nothing).

I am sorry we have not replied to you. We are developing a custom bug tracker and are having issues with our download links.
To address your issues:
1) Looking into this. The component was developed to use in the backend, but we are always trying to improve it.
2) We have a filter in back-end, so user can filter items by category. Also there is list of all categories to which item is assigned. If it is not working the way you want, please email me at scott@usjoomlapros.com.
3) This is not possible. The category is an 'attribute', but it is still just a single article.
