semantic html. The items are marked with classes and id to allow easy styling with css.
Works with with both normal and SEF-URLS (not yet tested with mod-rewrite), the modul will only generate
SEF URLs when "SEO" is enabled in the joomla core configuration.
Possible Features in Upcoming Versions:
* Multi Category Selection
* Style Templates
* Output Options (list, table, definition list, ...)
People seem to like this module, so I was looking forward to using it. There's certainly a need for a good extension that does this.
But when I install it, it kills my site on the front end. Blank page, no source code, and this on two separate sites. And they're pretty sound installations. The documentation is in German, so it's hard to say if I've got something set wrong. It just doesn't work. I hope y'all have better luck with it.

I've seen this one work in actual and I must say that this extension is great! It actually did what it says, besides it is easy to install, set and use. The developers are also nice that they are willing to assist you with your questions. I rate this excellent for a job well done!
A little while ago I needed to display a menu which had to look like it is directly in the content.
I found this module in Version 1.0, which displayed all the links I needed without dropping my actives/parents. But I almost immediately realized that there are some functions missing.
I missed an "active" marking for the seleceted item an some other css classes. Later on I missed some sorting options,SEF capability and so on ...
So I took a look at the code. Added something here an there an mailed the developer the result.
...
Why do I mention this in a review? Cause in my opinion this little module is grown a bit during this work. It's small, semantic and fast.
And thats just the result of 2 peoples individual needs.
I guess within time the module will become way more useful when people give feedback and request support.
So if you are searching a module that offers you the ability to display category items in the way you want them to be displayed, try it.
