I installed FreeMind 1.2.1 on my local Joomla (USB-Stick) an put the *.mm file in the ./images/stories directory. Installion is quite easy without problems. I just put ein link like {freemind uri=images/stories/maps/mymap.mm width=400 height=400} into an article I saw the *.mm file as a flash as I expected. That's what I want => good.

The plugin installer appears to be missing something ....

After installing the current version, I tried to upload a .mm file using media manager, but it won't allow the upload complaining about a "possible IE XSS attack", I think its looking inside the .mm and thinks it looks too much like HTML (see http://docs.joomla.org/Possible_IE_XSS_Attack)

As it is - there doesn't seem to be anyway to use the plugin :-( since there isn't any other way to get an MM file onto the server.

(p.s. posting it here because the support forum isn't usable - rejects even the first post as multiple ones from the same IP)

come on...publishing a bad review at JED because you cant upload any .mm files using Joomla! media manager? and where is my fault, where is the problem I can solve? educate yourself using Google first:

use FTP client, use SCP client, use any firefox plugin like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/684

If the media manager refuse to upload, and the error is there, then open a bug in Joomla bugtracker, and contact FIRST you admin hosting company, chances are high that the error is there
