- Upload the zip-archive with Joomla's Component Installer.
- Create a new menu in the backend and link it to the component, or use one of the component's options to automate menu item creation in Main Menu or Top Menu.
- Choose the preferred map viewer (java or flash).
- Adjust the width, height and other display options.
The component works fine with JoomFish.
You have the option of using built-in functions for character conversion but you can choose mbstring if you have problems.
There are also other options which allow you to change the look-and-feel.

This is an excellent tool for those who want to make their site easier to navigate. It was easy to install and has several options for changing the look/configuration.
I would recommend this for anyone and everyone.
Very well done!

I have been reviewing extensions for showing the site map on our site. I came across Joom!FreeMind and the rest is history.
I tested version 2.1.5 and liked it. Since then I have been corresponding with Cosmin Damian (the developer) about my observations. Cosmin was kind enough of to take my input and diligently worked on improving the component every time. Now we are in version 2.1.8.
Thanks Cosmin for your relentless support in improving this component.
