The look of the button is fully configurable from the backend,
you can change the text, font-color, font-size, background images and much more.
As of version 1.0.8 the button text can be translated in the plugin configuration or by using language files. Additionally we added an option to display the button also in the administrator interface.
You can also define how many pixels must be scrolled down before the button appears, the time that the button needs to fade in and out and if the button should be transparent by setting the opacity between 0.1 and 1.

This plugin works with MooTools 1.1x that is included in Joomla 1.5 and it is compatible with every browser, even with IE 6!

Really nice plugin. You are not supposed to add any line in your content. The plugin automatically generates any text with any colour, which you can give in backend. But one of my sites use rockettheme afterburner template and the plugin not works in IE8. It was sad to uninstall this good plugin as I cannot change the template.

The slickest way to send your users to the top of your page. A must have extension to solve long content issues with style.
This is a vey good add in which offers your site visitors an easier browsing experiance without cluttering up your articles with hyperlinks. Visually it looks sophisticated to boot.
The first poster may have missed out on the final setting for the plugin which allows for different bodyid classes. There is more information in the forums on how to configure this option.

I do so much work on the computer that I'm always at risk for carpal tunnel flareups... So this button looks good to me and my poor tired arm! Reduces the work of scrolling by a lot!
And it's fun to play with too, when you're tired: we go UP and then DOWN, and then UP and then DOWN... It's kinda irresistable, you have to play with it. :)
And yes, it's super easy to install. Almost no setup. You can customize it if you like. This would possibly be classified as a little gimmick item, but I think once you have it you'll see that it's actually a very useful and use-able part of the page. I like it!
