I got it to work right away. Find the documentation, follow documentation, see it work. Great application.

I installed several similar extensions prior to this one and I realized I was spending bunch of time to get them to work. There wasn't much documentation about how to use their extensions, modules.

There is an excellent documentation about how to use this module, and if you are still struggling to get it to work developer has great support. I had few questions and he immediately addressed those issues. I don't even get this type of service from some of the paid products.

I tried quite a few extentions before finding Ninja Shadowbox. It does everything I want. Very professional looking.

With a little coding in articles where I inserted my pictures this nice and powerful peace of code managed to resolve my problem of showing pictures in shadowbox manner in IE and FF on one specific site. That was quite a problem for some other extensions. I suppose the reason is some other extensions on this site but ninja_shadowbox beat them all. I found PDF manual which is very helpful and comprehensive. Thank you!

I'm new to joomla, but this module is so easy to use to use that I decided to use it on all the pop-up links on my website, i even use it to open links like "Forgot Your Password" and "Register for an new Account". The support given by the author is superb, thorough and well-thought-through.

It wasn't immediately intuitive but the PDF manual was very helpful and I got it going quickly. What else can I say - it just works. Thanks for a very useful module!

I installed the Shadowbox on one Joomla site and it worked straight away without any problems. However, one should read the supporting PDF tutorial, which gives the relevant code to place into your page. The module itself is easily installed with standard procedure.

Then I tried to install Shadowbox on another Joomla site and it didn't work. I contacted the forum and got an answer from Mark the next day. It turned out that the module was published to a position, which did not exist in my template, i.e. the left position by default. One has to pay attention to that as the module doesn't physically show in the front end, still it has to be published in an available template position. Perhaps the default position should NOT be 'left' but rather top or bottom, which are perhaps positions used by every template. Perhaps the PDF tutorial should point this out too, maybe I missed that.

I have two suggestions for a future release. Firstly, it would be great if the JavaScript would allow for a 'mouseover open' additionally to the 'on click opening'.

Secondly, it would be great to have a 'next' and 'previous' link appear in the image when the mouse moves over the right or left part of the image as seen on other Lightbox effects on the web. This is a neat feature.

All in all, this is an excellent extension which is easy to install and easy to use even for a relative novice like myself. Moreover, the support in the forum is super.

I have used the ninja shadow box for youtube videos, it works fine...but while trying to use as inline content, it didn't work. I tried from the code which is given in the documentation pdf file but it goes no where....It would help a lot if it has some clear documentation regard to this matter. For the rest, ninja is superb, work like a charm.

This is a nice module! It really makes my website stand out! You can turn old boring links into cool and clean pop ups. I think the're working on more documentation for it, but between the documentation they have and the active ninjaforge Forum, help is close at hand.

I recently implemented the shadowbox plugin into my site and after a little tweaking got it up and running... beautifully. I am not technical, so when it did not work in IE8 I was worried. But, the joomla ninjas here actually provide excellent customer support (a real rarity) and with 2 lines of code added... presto. Works like a charm. Thanks!
