Ninja ShadowBox

- Tired of JavaScript conflicts for your lightbox?

Thanks for the feedback webuser.
Yes you are correct that there are issues with it working IE8 (only) but if you look on our forum, these can be fixed with a few changes to your site template.
Also, if you want scrollbars, you simply have to specify the size of the popup window, instead of letting it choose itself.
Works same as author writes...
Very nice lightbox effect...
Very easy to integrate...
Very nice documentation...
So, what else is needed...?
Everything works fine but the FLV playback on IE8 doesn't work. Looks like it doesn't find the flash player plugin even if it's installed.
I love this extension. By the way. V. 1.4 is already on their site and no registration required to download it.
And yes - I know you have to enable advanced mode.
PS: Don't forget to download the Documentation, it helps!
not good for beginners like myself
would love a guide or something
Hi kgainez,
We have information on the site, or you can check out the original shadowbox homepage. (just put shadowbox into google)
Basically just put rel=shadowbox into your links to make it work.
e.g. A pic of me
Then the picture will show up in a shadowbox when you click the link.
1. shadowbox for single images
2. shadowbox for multiple images
3. good handling of large images (several options, ex: resize)
This Plugin is very easy to handle. I really recommend to read the instructions, your answers should be solved then. I didn't get any errors during install or so.
Unfortunately, WMV files don't seem to play in Google Chrome browser - it just says you need to download the Windows Media Player, which you can do as many times as you like, but to no avail...
Thanks for the feedback Jack,
I think this is an issue with Chrome and not with Shadowbox itself.
Thanks for the feedback. We have had lots of other sites working fine in IE. Did you change the library to one of the other options? If you are using a template with mootools already loaded that is probably the cause of your problem.
