This is very slick and should be a core function in Joomla. It's nice to have it available whenever you might need it.

Note: I had trouble finding out how to get started -- the trick is to use {footnote}Here's my note{/footnote} in the body of any article.

This functionality is so basic and essential that it should be built in with Joomla!.

However, this version has a bug when using pagebreaks. It kind of breaks your site (I'm using ja purity).

This plugin is exactly what I need for one of my sites that has long, academic articles. I'd been painstakingly managing the footnotes by hand -- this will make like MUCH easier!!
