very good extension but, you can only work in html mode, if you switch back to the wysiwyg editor, your content will be messed up with the extension code, not a big problem if you tooltip text(not a lot) but if you tooltip an image(a medium one) .the content will look messy hindering to work.

So usufull that should be core integrated!

Overall it's a clean polished plugin. It only works in articles -- not modules. Unless you set it an article first, then copy the page source and place in a module with your Joomla WYSIWYG Editor turned OFF.

It would be nice to add a direction parameter so, that tooltips appear below a link... then you could use this at the top of your template -- otherwise it goes off-screen. Otherwise, these guys do great work.

So here's the rub - you sign up in order to download the extension(s) you want. It's a rolling 3mnth membership - in my case I only wanted the one extension so I didn't renew. (I don't have enough Joomla clients at this stage to justify a continual expense). Down the line you have issues with the extension, but because you have not renewed your membership, you are blocked from accessing the yootheme forums and are not entitled to support.

I emailed the developers and that was their attitude in a nutshell. So where are you expected to go for help ??

I am thoroughly disappointed and feel kinda ripped off.

Great little plugin - works pretty much out of the box - you just have to add a line to your template if you don't use a YOOtheme template. Interesting business model they use: having to join and then having access to all the extension/templates. But there's no doubting the quality of their work - very good indeed - and quick with support too.
