Installed and published this module, but it had no effect - I checked everything in the admin to see what I had done wrong, but could not see anything.
Went to the developers forum, asked for help and they provided all the help I needed.
Turned out that another extention was not playing nice, and was causing a conflict.
They investigated quickly and explained the issue clearly.
Now it works exactly as expected and as described above.
