Simple Page Options Module started as a small module which enables the users to bookmark sites and print pages, but it kept evolving until it became an All-In-One solution that has the following features:

* Fully Compliant with XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
* Fully Ajax/Javascript Module, no page reloading.
* Fully Customizable, the Site Admin Have a lot of options to choose from.
* Independent of Mootools (it will work fine with or without mootools).
* Supports All versions of: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, Flock, and possibly other browsers.
* Supports both (Left-to-Right) and (Right-to-Left) Sites.
* Supports 20 Languages: Arabic, Brazilian-Portuguese, Czech, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian
* Supports 14 social bookmarking sites: Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Stumble Upon, Google, Blogger, Digg, Del.icoi.us, Reddit, Yahoo! Buzz, Mixx, Windows Live, Diigo and Furl.
## Gives Site Users the following capabilities (in the pages that its published on):
- Add Site to Favorites.
- Add Page to Favorites.
- Make Homepage.
- Print Page.
- Share Page (Social Bookmarking).
- Save Page As PDF.
- Email Page to Friends.
- Contact Us.
- Go to Page Top.
## Gives Site Administrators the following options (in the pages that its published on):
- display a custom note to Internet Explorer users to suggest other browsers, each with its download link.
- disable right-click menus.
- change the site's title so it appears as (Site Name - Page Name) instead of (Page Name), the separator is customizable.
- replace the default Joomla! Generator Meta-tag with a custom generator.
- force IE8 compatibility view, which means that IE8 users will see the site as if its viewed with IE7.

I'm with other reviewers. I admit apathy--I need to have a major epiphany to review an extension. And I exaggerate not, this extension did just that--it's AWESOME!
I'm just an old lady trying to work on a charitable site, and I knew we were needing a bookmarking feature. My poor ancient brain went into a spin, until I found this extension and YAY! It was SO easy to install, completely set up with tooltips for my constant confusion, AND it allows me lots of options. Everything was done for me, in a matter of SECONDS.
I can't recommend this extension enough if you're needing quick bookmarking to both the browsers and to the social networks!

I do not do many of these reviews but this is a very useful utility. The only thing I can criticize is the PDF maker, but this is external to the module, and outside the developers control (slow and flaky).
I had an issue with styling, and a quick email to the developer yielded a response in 15 minutes (on a Saturday afternoon). WOW!
The issue was in the moduletable styling on my site, and although Omar did not solve the problem, he pointed me in the right direction.
My only suggestion for improvement is to add a CSS file, which would solve these types of problems.

I have tried several 'bookmark-this-page' extensions and THIS ONE is by far the best!

This is flipping outstanding! Everything that's needed for my site in one compact bar. :)
My only comments are that it would be nice to choose where the popups appear. It was also be nice to have 24-bit PNGs with transparency instead of 8-bit ones with jaggy lines on my dark template! ;)

regarding the popup position, you already can choose the position of the popups by defining the vertical and horizontal indexes for the popups in the module's back end..
as for the PNGs, you may be right, they will all be nice and dandy by v1.5.14 :)
Worked well with no installation or set-up problems.
Would like the option to include the Sharing functions as text links instead of as the pop-up bar with icons. As we only want to add the Facebook and Twitter options, it would be nice to have it look like:

This one is a very helpful and easy to customize module. I had a little problem as it refused to accept email addresses including "-" (minus) but contacting the developer he sent me the solution in no time.

and thank you for the translation, it was added since version 1.x.6.
make sure to check out version 1.5.7 for many more additions such as (social bookmarking) and (save page as PDF)
finally a simple and good-working module for something that should be standard.
The only thing I miss is a 'module class suffix' that allows me to present it in the layout of my site..

versions 1.0.4 and 1.5.4 have a Module Class Suffix just for your eyes.

I got the newest version I guess and it works great with my 1.5.8 install. The only thing I would improve is having the option to add it as a menu link so I could include it in the main menu area (unless I somehow missed this capability).
I am using a virtuemart ja_larix version which has a non-standard main menu and so I wasn't able to put it in that where I wanted but it still works great and I found a nice little place for it anyway. :)

you are most welcome..
since this is a module, and not a component, you can't place it in your main menu, it has to be in a separate module..
This module is better than another module Bookmarks Joomla! 1.5 which claims to do the similar job but not.
Hope the author of this module add those backend parameters to the language file so that we can make complete translations.
In addition, if possible, please use .ini format language file since this is the standard of Joomla! 1.5.
