Dmod Module Manager Component

Dmod builds a categorized listing of modules to be loaded in the mainbody along with some optional details, such as a description, version info, compatibility and parameters (Configuration Options). You can either have a category list or a single dmod layout menu item.

Version updates:
• 1.1: Possibility to apply your template's specific chrome to each module rendering.
• 1.2: Possibility for the viewer to apply his own module parameters.

This component is absolutely great! You can modify and apply changes in modules directly through a panel that you can put where you want in the frontend! not only the backend.

I have built many Joomla websites and often the standard format of an article in the middle of your home page isn't quite what you want. Dmod gives you the complete flexibility of using virtually any module in the Joomla universe as the center piece of your front page. I particularly like it for the Gavick modules and together they work perfectly.
