This is a use of iframe to put external site or content within a page content without having to handcode HTML. Just 1 setting: the URL to frame {iframe}url{/iframe}, or {iframe}{/iframe} - the default URL will be used. Updated on 2008-Sep-7 You also can override the default parameter such: width, height, marginwidth, marginheight, scrolling, frameborder, name, align, noframes in the first parameter. For example: {iframe width="320" height="240" align="top"}url{/iframe}.
In ver 1.5: Fix for PHP 5.3
In ver 1.3e - Formatted url will be stripped tags. So you do not care about the link anymore.

Thanks for the much needed plugin! I have a request for the developer and have been looking for a way to use this iframe plugin more than only once in a website as I have not found any documentation yet,

Tried a few Iframe plugins and had issues with
other extensions.
This one just works.
Easy to setup and configure.

Awesome! This was pretty much exactly what I was looking for! Its as easy as it says and works like a charm! You can set the default size for it making it easy each time you paste in the iframe. Then if you have an insert editor button my job is super easy!

As a non techie, managed to install this no problem at all in to 1.5.3 (Legacy 1.0) and appeared to work perfectly.
However, rather bizarrely the i-frame page only appears when the target page is also open in another browser window i.e. if you only open one window with the i-frame it appears as blank.
Is a shame as does exactly what I want it to do but unfortunately will have to try and find another solution.....

Loved this extension and found it very easy to implement. Worked very well on the page where it was placed. However, it made all my sections stop working and trying to access them returned the following error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/htadmin/public_html/plugins/content/plg_iframe.php on line 65
I had to unpublish the plugin to get my sections to come back on line. It is a shame as the mosiframe plugin does work so well apart from this.
