I use another component in my Joomla site and it used domPDF. When I installed it, it broke PhocaPDF. So I tried this component. It installed and worked right off the bat. Only issue so far is that I'd like the PDF button to be in the article options bar at the top of the article (next to the print and email icons) instead of at the top/bottom of the article itself. But this plug was a lifesafe (or at least a few hours saver) and I very much appreciate the author sharing it! Kudos

I think it is a good alternative and it is free.
Author it will be awesome if you can add a control panel to the back end of Joomla. That way if you are able to select wich articles or pages you want to enable the pdf convert
also if you can select to download or pop up the pdf.

Hard to find this type of plugin anywhere that will convert a regular content article to a PDF just by clicking an icon. I looked through the entire extension directory and this was the only one I could find so I recommend it.

I could not get it to work at all -- failed with two errors which crashed the admin interface. Initially support from the writer was helpful in solving the non fatal error (which involved changing the dompdf_config.inc.php file rather than the extension files). But since then no response whatsoever for 4 days on solving the fatal error, or am I expecting too much for a non-commercial extension?. Its a pity as its a great idea.

This is an isolated error.
