YellowNote ModuleLanguage

YellowNote is a small and convenient module to create, view and save notes per registered user. Notes are kept in a database table (shared with WhiteNote to enable front- and backend access to notes) and are accessible across pages and visits. A warning is displayed on leaving the page if there are unsaved changes. The size of the text area can be adjusted automatically and dynamically. Various opties are available to adjust the layout of the text area. An initial text can be set for new users. English and Dutch language files are included.

YellowNote is a Joomla 1.5 conversion and enhancement of the original Joomla 1.0.x mod_todo module by Roland Breedveld (http://www.breedveld.net).

First class little plugin. Effortless to install, couldn't be simpler to use, works as advertised out of the box.

This extension provides a very handy note pad for my site user's to jot down anything they want. For a relatively young module this is very good. The configuration allows you to style the module's colour scheme to fit with your site, and the manual created by the developer is very well written.

It would be nice to see the developer include a 'multiple-page' system whereby user's could store several pages of notes.
Not many would even need this module, but I did, and found it quite useful. I knew it would work perfectly before I even installed. Reason being the way in which the developer has taken pains to explain even the most mundane details to make it literally idiot-proof (not that I am one). My suggestion is this: it must be made compulsory for noobs and those who complain about installations problems while trying other modules to read through the precise and clear instructions given by the Yellow/White Notes developer and see whether he or she fails in making it work. If they fail, well, they must be taken care of by the state because they may not be able to take care of themselves.

If only every developer followed this example and made life easier for the lay user.
