The Google font directory is a collection of fonts hosted on Google servers and available for use on your website under an open source license. Unlike the CSS font-face system they work on all browsers (even IE6) and unlike flash embedded systems the fonts are completely search engine friendly.
Install the zip file via the administration install manager as per any other plugin. Once it has installed go to the plugin manager and select HD-Gfonts. Enable the plugin, choose the font from the parameters list and click on apply.
This is only useful for americans(english), russians and greeks.
The Google Fonts Directory does not differentiate the fonts that are UTF. Those who would like to find unicode characters will waste precious hours of their lives with frustrating search before they realise it's in vain.

After a problem with installing the extension I contacted Richard at Hyde-Design, he replied within half an hour to fix it. Outstanding service, thank you Richard.
When the plugin was up and running it was very easy to choose the google fonts and also to style them as I wanted with drop shadows etc... This extension does exactly as promised.
