capDropper PluginLanguage

capDropper is a simple plugin for making the first letter of an article appear as a styled drop cap. The cap can be dropped automatically unless a switch-off tag is inserted in an article, or manually by putting a switch-on tag in an article. The css class can be set to match that of a template, or the plugin's default class can be edited to change the style of the capital letter. Optionally the plugin can be banned from section and category blog pages. capDropper is translation-ready and an English language file is included.
capDropper is a Joomla 1.5 conversion and enhancement of the dropcap mambot by by David Preston (dave@davepreston.me.uk, www.davepreston.me.uk).

I like the page style you get with this plugin!
It works well and it doesn't seem to affect pages loading.
Assuming you have to work with tags maybe an improvement it could be an option to force automatic paragraph creation on starting text, but I think it's not so easy.
Good idea and good development.
Thanks!

It's a good start! I use it already!

May I give you some suggestions though ? :)

You can make the plug-in use some images. Web-fonts are scarce, you can only use ones that are 100% in the users PC to get the result you want.

If you could make it use uploaded images of A,B,C,D etc it would kill !

Anyway. Good work!

Thanks for the positive words! There already is a plugin using images, mfDropCaps. The idea here was to have full css liberty and convenience, and to choose if dropcaps should be shown in overview pages.
