The migration of my huge PHPBB3 to Agora 2.5 could not have been better. Simply perfect.
When I subsequently ran into a problem with their upgrade script for 2.5 to 3.0 their support forum was there with step by step assistance.
I highly recommend the Agora transfer scripts for any supported forum.

I was one of those that scoffed at paying $15 for a damn script. After 3 weeks of no luck with trying to convert our board to ANYTHING at all, I bit the bullet and bought the script. I wish I had done that 3 weeks ago.
This isn't a hack job script. It's professionally done and for someone that's just getting into messing with stuff like this, dummy proof with no guesswork.
Honestly, something as well executed as this really would cost more from other sources. The conversion process was quick and now I'm finally free of a Joomal/PHPBB rig up.

Months ago I converted my phpbb3 forum to Agora because I wanted a bridgeless solution. Of course, being able to import my existing forum posts and user information was a necessity. The converter I purchased from Joomla Me! was more than worth the small price I paid. The product worked exactly as described.
I recommend reading the documentation and related forum posts at Joomla Me! before using the converter just to be sure you understand the converter and options. But this is very straightforward and easy to use.

We converted our Firedboard forum to Agora. Works GREAT!!! Had some minor issues.. but the dev was there to help us out along the way. Thanks JoomlaMe!!! :)

Having already experienced a great product from the Joomlame team, i had full confidence in their converter. Converting my big board from VBulletin to Agora was a breeze. With clear and easy to follow instructions and the end result was a fully functioning forum including all attachments and member list.
