ctrl+alt+shift+b notepad++ plugin - xml tools can save you that painful 5min, this generator is not bad just you have find right tool, using that ext saved me a lot of time especially with templates with many files.. images

I started off using the application and had no issues with it while building and testing a template locally on a virtual Apache server running on a Windows system. It was not until trying to install the template on the live Unix server where I ran into some issues. The manifest that it creates list all paths and files names lower-cased. Maybe its the scripter in me, but appose to underscores I tend to camel-hump my longer file names.
So needless to say it took a while to rename all the file names in the manifest. It was cool that it least did 80% of the work creating the manifest for me.

I tried this software, it works but a bit complicated.
1) the xml entries are on one line, so if a want to edit, i need 5minutes to place the listings correctly
2) if i want install my template via joomla installer (1.5), he say the installation was successful, but the template isnt in the template list
-> the software named the xml file to "templatedetails.xml"
but for correctly use, it must be "templateDetails.xml"
