Joomla! Tools Suite v2.0.0-BETA (StandAlone) is available from JoomlaCode for testing and comment.

Unzip/UnTAR the distribution file. Upload the complete JTS2 directory to the directory you have Joomla! installed.
EG: http://www.domaon.com.au/cms/ is where J! is installed.
place the complete JTS2 under /cms/ ( ie: /cms/JTS2/ )

Joomla! Tools Suite : is a StandAlone TroubleShooting Audit and Health Check tool, designed to be run from a directory within Joomla! It includes embedded versions of Enhanced HISA-sa (see below), Joomla! Diagnostics (By WebSmurf) and DB Maintenance utilities.
Currently English, Finnish, Swedish, German, Hungarian and French languages available.

Awesome application, installation very easy.. I got it up & running in matter of seconds, just ftp upload in Joomla root directories then unzip & hooray! its working as indicated, protected me via major security vulnerabilities.

I am also a "newbie" to joomla! and thought JTS would be helpful.
I had a problem so I went to the JTS help forum. No response to the ONE and only request for help which was posted during the month of May 2008. (Today is 12-24-2008).
That request was for the same problem I am having with JTS. It can't find my joomla!installation even though I installed JTS exactly as directed.
Even though JTS is highly regarded (enough to be an "editors choice), due to lack of support I gave it a low rating.
I suspect the poblem is JTS looks for the joomla! install to be in /joomla but my installatiom is not in /joomla .

I am a newbie and not knowing the vulnerabilities of a standard installation, my sites were getting hacked repeatedly.
