Works brilliantly - attentive and prompt support - I must for Joomla hosting!

I am more than happy to pay for a product when there is legitimate support behind the product. OSE helped me through several installation issues in a very timely manner. I have paid for other extensions and have not received the proper support. OSE breaks the mold!

My two sites had been hacked so I needed to take off what the hackers had put on and get some protection. The rogue software didn't show up on anti virus scans by other products but the OSE team found and removed it. They then loaded their protection for me and worked on it until all the problems were totally resolved. Really excellent support, thank you OSE team.

This is a godsend point blank period.

My site(s) were continuously getting hacked from various groups who would turn hours of work into hours of frustration trying to salvage what was left of my website(s).

Because of these compromises "I" was unwittingly sending out tons of spam from my shared server and hosting provider, which caused my hosting account to get locked.

I found OSE Security Suite and thought it was pretty expensive, but I needed the protection more than I needed the money. Not only is time worth money but I'd rather save myself the frustration of trying to piece my website(s) back together again and trying to stop the flood of garbage spam.

Not only did OSE Security Suite get rid of malicious lines of code in my pre-existing website(s) it has also prevented around 15 separate attacks on my website(s) since I purchased it October 13th 2011 and today is October 25th 2011.

Therefore I decided to come back and write a review about my experiences because despite my reluctance at first to purchase it because of the price, in hindsight it was well worth the money.

We purchased the security suite from OSE a while back and had it running fine.... After a few months of neglect on our part our site became infected with some malicious code.... :-/

Support at OSE was GREAT... they got right back to us... helped us clean out the infected files and made sure it won't happen again!

Couldn't ask for more from a dev team!

I couldn't believe how great these guys are. They've been helping me for weeks getting my site fixed. we had alot of issues but turned it my hosting company was on a lower PHP. once I change hosting company we got everything up and running. They answered all my questions day or night. I can't say enough about OSE.

I don't often write a review so quickly after installing - however, in this instance I felt it worthty. These guys went overboard with support to get this working on my site.

Having been attacked twice in the space of week, I needed a robust system in place to help reduce the threat of more attacks.

Whilst I know that no component can stop all - at least with this package I can prevent some.

I purchased the web cleaning services due to serious and annoying hacker attacks. The service and the attention from these guys was more than excellent. After spending a lot of money on other cleaning services, these guys manage to solve my problems in a couple days. After that, i purchase the security suite. My problems are over! No more hackers attacking my website, no more code injections and database injections. I strongly advise you to purchase this Security Suite, it's a must have for all Joomla websites!

I purchased this extenions a couple of weeks ago for a community site that I'm building. I'm a very novice user and am pretty much stumbling my way through this whole process. I was able to install the extension but didn't quite understand how to configure it, so when I contacted OSE, they configured it for me without hesitation. Every question that I asked was answered in a timely fashion and they were very much willing to assist with the product...to me, that speaks volumes! The extension seems to be working perfectly so far....no problems.

I bought this extension after having a couple of sites hacked. It immediately demonstrated it's worth going by the reports of attempts on my sites. There were a couple of issues when I upgraded to the latest version, but was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the speed and amount of effort put in by Helix and the team in investigating and fixing this to my complete satisfaction.

If you are thinking about buying this extension, stop thinking and go ahead!

On the Internet, security is always a concern. For that reason, this extension is very important and necessary for any website alive on the net. Not only the OSE team present a good service for their costumers but only they have very friendly and good support and more than even they do more than their responsibility,
I had a problem with re- directing and i thought this is OSE problem, they find out the problem and helped me to fix it, but the problem was not totally OSE issue and had not noting to do with this extension. Well done.

Besides offering a great product that works, these guys really offer outstanding support. Unlike other extension developers they don't just reference a link where you have to read it and try to figure things yourself. These guys offer hands on support! I highly recommend this product. Sadly, there are so many hackers (especially for Joomla) this product is necessary! I highly recommend it and the customer service has been fast and great.

I have been building Joomla! sites for over 5 years and during this time, one persistent issue open source sites seem to suffer is that of hacks.

Although this developer has detailed instructions listed for their Anti-Hacker Suite for install and testing, I was having trouble getting back into my site's back end after the test phase was initialized.

OSE support not only solved the problem, but they achieved this in record time, based on what I am used to dealing with regarding third party extensions.

So far so good and hats off to OSE! This is a product that is well worth the $'s spent, if not for the tech support alone.

What can I say. These guys went out on a limb to help me out. Had a few issues with install but the support you receive is second to none. The product has stopped 7 hack attempts in the last 3 days. It brings peace of mind and saves you a ton of money in the long run. Don't hesitate just buy it. You won't be sorry...

I bought this after my third hack in 2 years.

Can't believe all the infected files the antivirus found even after the hosting company said they cleaned it.

This is a must have for joomla. Ever wondered if you had some files altered or had files inserted into your joomla install? This will find them and help to stop them.

Like all antivirus products, false alarms are likely so be careful.

I've setup a few sites for customers of mine with this extension. I wouldn't recommend running a commercial based sight without it. I'm quite pleased with this software, and it's ease of installation & signature updates. It's saved 1 site so far and helped me find and disable a loose extensions vulnerability.

Open Source Excellence will have my business for future sites I construct from here on out so long as they keep doing what they're doing.

I had a crazy attack on december 24th, and after delete all my content to start over, i got hacked again :(. Then i found this suite and they save my life! the support its incredible, and the suite works perfect, detect the suspicious and the really intents, they guide me trought the installation process and the results where amazing, had no attacks, the scripts still clean and the attacks controlled. i think that so far this is the best purchase i made for my clients.

I have owned this suite for nearly 2 months now, and the bottom line is that it does what it was intended to do...

But not w/out some caveats. There were a number of bugs that occurred along the way. Installation is not simple although it is fairly well-documented.

The anti-hacker picks up a number of site-wide false-positives, although you can supposedly tone down the sensitivity of its detection. The anti-virus scanning picks up many false positives, and the nature of the alerts are not explained well. I would be nice if the supposedly malicious code could be displayed in the anti-virus itself (via popup or link), instead of having to pour through the all of the code itself to find the source of the error, or worse, having to look at a before/after snapshot of the cleaned/uncleaned files. It's inconvenient and time consuming.

It even picked up a false positive when scanning ITSELF after fresh installation.

Having to manually enter false positive strings in the anti-hacker is also very inconvenient. (GET, POST, COOKIE).

There issues w/ the file scanner, where it will not refresh after finishing the scan of a large joomla site (12k+files).

Basically, the product does not feel polished to me. The beta version of the file scanner that OSE installed (after submitting a support ticket) worked better and had more continuity in terms of the interface.

All that being said, the product stopped all of the issues we were having immediately. It does what it says, and the support was very good as well. It's money well-spent, and I would recommend it to anyone who asked. But I would issue a warning w/ my recommendation. This software IMO needs a bit of polishing in order to truly shine.

I use the Security Suite for the websites of all my customers and I can tell you that the suite does a great job.
And above all the Support of the OSE team is excellent. I recommend this Suite to you.
