The Stay Open plugin keeps your frontend session alive until you close the browser. Works on the frontend only.

Instructions for use:

Both this plugin and the Remember Me plugin must be enabled.

Set a short session time, say 5 minutes in Global Configuration-->System--->Session Lifetime

Good idea

This plug-in useful but it would have more usability with option to set cookie with exactly expiration time (i.e. 24h), not only while the browser is open.
