I only read English - even though the website translates (somewhat) in google translate, it took dropping back to the default website to register (required). I then downloaded the free version.

Simply run Jamp (no install needed).

Double-click its icon in the notification area, or use your browser to navigate to "localhost". Read the browser window that opens.

Add folders/projects to the "mnt/var/www" folder.

Additional databases/users can be added using phpMyAdmin.

The Jamp folder (including your projects) can be carried from one PC to another on a flash/usb drive.

When a project is ready, use "Akeeba Backup" to migrate it to a live server.

JAMP WORKS!

ok, so you have a new project for a client.
You just have to download this software (I know, the site is not quite english), unpack it and click on the executable.
It works.
Now you can do the whole things you need to.
Then install Akeeba backup, transfer this site to the live server.
Done!
So simple is it.
Thanks a lot :)

Best local server on which I ever worked, I would recommend it to all visitors: developers, profesional and amateur users. I use it not only when working with Joomla, but also to other projects e.g. with php files. I hope that you will develope it, and all components will be updated

I had to test SobiPro on a Windows server. I just downloaded this tool and clicked once. After this one click I had full Joomla! installation and was able to do my job.
Only one disadvantage; there is no Mac OS X version ;)

Great job guys. Thanks a lot :)
