Joomlas2Go! is a build in compilation of the latest Joomla! official version with Server2Go: http://www.server2go-web.de/ and is recommended for Joomla! Beginners, Advanced Users and Joomla! Web Developers & Administrators. Just download the .7z file, extract it to the root of any hard disk of your PC (never to your Desktop or My Documents default Windows folders) and run the "1-Server2Go.exe" file...
After few seconds you will get your new Joomla! Project running inside a window of your Host PC Internet Explorer browser, or optionally, if using any of the PREMIUM Packs versions, inside a build in portable browser!.
Joomlas2Go! is configured by default as an Standalone Developer Local Server and set by default on autorun mode that will work from your hard disk, from a CD-ROM and even from a powered USB Portable Disk with few changes inside the "pms_config.ini" file.
You will have no problems with drive letters (normally X:/) in your Windows Explorer and no conflicts with the Port 80 that blocks other applications (ex. Skype).
- Joomlas2Go! is fully tested on Windows environment like: Windows XP, Windows Vista and even Windows 7RC.
- If you are using APPLE - MAC and/ or LINUX only, you should still be able to run Joomlas2Go! inside a Virtual Machine with Windows already installed... If you are not familiar with it, yet, I strongly recommend you to use the Sun VirtualBox: http://www.sun.com/software/products/virtualbox/get.jsp as one of the best and easier to manage, OPEN SOURCE and FREE, virtualization systems.

Really does what it is said here and is very easy to use and understand:
- Good Readmefirst file included that explain how to start with.
- I had some doubts and I received very quick answer by email from the admin.
I can not understand why this extension is under rated here.

If you are looking for a development solution for Joomla on a thumb drive this is a no brainer! Simply put this is the easiest solution you can find. The website is also well done and easy to navigate. Even if you don't think you need a product like this, try it anyway and you will wonder why you never tried it before. I can't thank the author enough for making this so simple!

Excellent! It is what I've been looking for like a month to get my portfolio on the CDs. I was freaked out when I found nothing that I could do for making demo CDs. Your program saves my life and makes it relieved from such a pain. I didn't even imagine it would be like this much easy to make copies of my website. Thanks!

I am working very hard now to migrate my site to Joomla! 1.5.9, and a new Premium Users Area will be ready very soon on the new site version, with new advanced compilations that will make the life easier to all people: for beginners, advanced users and Joomla! developers!. Stay tuned!!.

This one is a very good extension. In fact, I think it is underrated. I have used it to develop my site locally, as well as test site for upgrades and new extensions, modules and plugins. ¡Works really fine!

Joomlas2Go works just as promised. I started with JoomlaPC but that did not work for some reason. (As a php dummy I don't have the knowlege to find out why). Easy to edit (with good notes inside the file) pms_config.ini to meet your preferances such as IE instead of Firefox etc. Thumbs up for this one.

For the simple love of all good things Joomla, I appeal to the author to not require user registration in order to download. All you're going to end up with is a bunch of user logins that are used once only. Oh, and a web site in English (even if only an option) would also be nice.
