I've been using Joomla and it's extentions for a while now. As everybody will agree, if you need to work online, you can get a load of crap in your website if you install the wrong extention. Uploading, downloading files over and over again...
This program just rocks! I've never taken the time to register and leave a review, hell I never even paid for an extention, but this one is shurely worth it. It does what it promises to do: handling your website on your pc so you can test in a local enviroment before uploading crappy extentions to your final online website.
I got the program 1 day and with the time i saved testing extentions for a new project i'm doing, I'm shure I already earned back the 10$ investment.
Looking forward to seeing more work and releases from you...
The only remark I might have is the program navigation. Although I found my way and had everything set up in 30min and only 2 installs (first one my fault, no errors or such), the program navigation itself is a bit confusing (in my oppinion off course). A more 'logical' (step by step menu for example) would be a nice update. If you want I'm willing to help with the menu structure and can provide you a dutch transation if you want.
Keep it up, I'm confident we will see more of this exceptional work :)

I'm a newbie to the web, and I feel confident I can produce more than just a simple html.
Thanks

My previous experience of JSAS was a pleasurable one. I duly paid my $10 since it was now expected and I had clients who required a Joomla1.5 site, and my older version of JSAS only supported 1.0x. However, where I previously found the installation a breeze, this offer confuses me. I assume it has taken alot of the guesswork away, but I liked that. Now I don't actually know what my user name is, because it doesn't allow me to choose it. I trust that it is just me, and that I will get it right. Otherwise, previous versions have been very robust and a huge help to me!

I paid my $10 dollars and got what I wanted. I give it 5 stars but a couple of things threw me for a while. Firstly do check that you have nothing else that is supplying a MySQL database to your local PC - you do not need to delete them just go to Control Panel/Administrative tools/services and "stop" them. Secondly you need to install Joomla (from within the JSAS window under Admin) for new sites, but that is kinda obvious after a few minutes. Do take note of the website login details which are in a popup during installation coz if you forget them you need to start again.
I think this app is really good. It runs as PHP 5 as well as 4 which is what I needed coz I had a Joomla com that only ran under PHP 5 and my current providor only supports 4. I could test it. It´s pretty cool. It gives you a MySQl database, PHP server and Joomla in one install. Clever.

JSAS offers the convenience of hosting multiple Joomla websites (both 1.5 and 1.0.x) on your PC! in a matter of minutes, without the pain of getting us into the intricacies of webservers, databases and setups.
Support is also very good and the developer answers the support tickets without delays. One of the main features of JSAS that helps me is to host multiple Joomla installations on the same server and configuring them with ease. We use it for simulating real time scenarios which our customers report bugs in. The turnaround time to setup the new Joomla environments is prety less too! Kudos to the developer.
The wait for the updates has been quite long with the last one in April. Would prefer to have more features like CURL support an frequent updates to the software
