The Joomla Component Creator is a component builder lets you effortlessly develop, customize and build ready-to-install components for the Joomla 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and 3.0 platforms. A component view can hold multiple custom fields and can allow both back and front end editing. All Joomla component field types are supported as well as many custom ones including foreign keys.
Component code generated strictly follows the Joomla MVC structure and formatting guides.
You can develop a fully functioning component in 5 minutes:
1. Name your component
2. Add a table/view
3. Add fields
4. Build your component
5. Install the component in your Joomla Admin
If you have ever developed a Joomla component before then you know that a lot of time is spent on copy pasting views, controllers and models and renaming them. Now you no longer need to do this as the Component Creator will create a fully functioning component for you. Once you have named your component and added tables, views and fields you simply click “build component” and download a ready to install zipped up fully working component with a complete interface to add, edit and delete the data structure you have set up.

Usually this type of tools dosen't realy work until you by the comercial version.
This is not the case you can create a perfect, no hacks, no spamy links, free advertising component.
The limitation is one table and if you need more tables i am sure you wont have problems to pay a month subscription.

This is not really an extension but a app that generates components for you. You register in the site and fill a form with the needs for your component. Finally you click "download" and you have your component ready to install.
It substitutes perfectly a CCK, and saves a lot of time to developers.

This is the first review i have ever posted and i have to say amazing this has saved our staff time and money, this has to be without a doubt one the for the best assists in a joomla creator tool kit now with front end forms and acl can it get any better than this oh yes it prob can
This tool saves a ton of time! I used to have a base component that I'd just have to search & replace and it would still take me an hour or so to get the component ready to START development. This just takes a few minutes and I'm ready to start development (I usually need components a little more complex component than the free version allows for).
Excellent tool that i love a lot, and i'm using it for many years from Joomla 1.5 to latest Joomla 2.5

Very useful tool. It saves much time. You can easily create base structure of component. Now development of new component which use standard Joomla administration layout is very simple.
Lately this tool has been changed to commercial but it adds much more functionality which makes next big step for creating components.
There are still missing some very important options to make easier development of big components, but I hope in near feature it will be added.

First of all I'm not an expert of joomla! This tool is very helpful for me. I want to share one think for beginner like me. It took me a while to use the controller.php for my purpose. Because of the following code:
$controller->execute( null );
So beginner like me have to change this code to
$controller->execute( JRequest::getCmd('task'));
in order to use this as index.php?option=com_mycom&task=mytask
So, I request to the developer of this extension to change the above code generation so that beginner's like me can use this extension more easily.
Last of all thanks a million to share the extension with us.

Well, I am amazed to see other reviews not being 5 star. This is the one and only tool that I have personally used the most and I am a very happy user!
I would totally suggest it to anyone, and a small message to those who didn't vote 5star:
