Changes since version 1.5.4 Stable Update 1:
1. Fixed bug where wrong url was generated for the 'Return to parent menu' link on returning from a 3rd level sub-section to a 2nd level one.
2. Menu item images are now shown in a modal lightbox instead of a normal popup window.
3. Added WYSIWYG editor to the item description fields.
4. Added a global parameter and code to control whether the vegetarian indicator is displayed or not. (And what character is displayed.)

I am using this Extension for a client and happy to have a good extension for restaurant menu's and perhaps more important, I found a developer who is very responsive to my suggestions.
After purchasing this product in early February 2010, I requested a few improvements to the developer. He responded immediately and had an upgrade to the extension in a week. A search plugin followed with in two weeks.
A few complimentary modules and improvements with views etc. will make this a great extension. So, the extension still needs improvement but with the experience I've have with them, I am sure there will be many upgrades. I would recommend this to any new client I get in the future.

Bought the component few days ago and lovin it! It's very easy to totally change the look and feel of the component (almost everything that needed changing is done in a single css file) which is very important if you want to implement it to a existing design.
Also excellent support by the developer and I mean excellent- the component was lacking multi language capabilities at first, so I used the support forums to contact dev. And within 24 hours things were moving in the multi language direction. First update was in 48hrs, incomplete however, but soon as I pointed out few shortcomings with the language part of the component, dev. was on it once again- excellent support!
So now, after 2 update's (in ~72hrs) the component is multi lang. compatible with Joomfish xml files promised for tomorrow.
