For the fact that this component is COMMERCIAL it ist very, very poor.
Search-modules are not able to perform a keyword search, some features are without function, buggy and unchecked updates/new versions are released.
Support tickets are answered in an acceptional time, but in most cases the solution consists in "not working in this version", "give us url, so we can check", "it`s a bug, we noticed it" or in another buggy update.
Mostly the bugs are present on their demosite, anyone can check the keywordless search or buttons without function. But: the version of the demosite is never the sold version!

Spending more then six months on the sold version, I still do not have a functional real-estate site with this component. This leads to the conclusion: they are selling a beta-version.ht a beta

For one who wants to spent his time writing suppport-tickes or install and configure buggy software, this component might be the right one.

The forum on their website is in opposition to all these five-stars reviews here.

Using this extension is a breeze, I have tried other real estate extensions and was so frustrated. In a few click I had this working beautifully, I am glad I am using this now.

I am new to Joomla and website creating in general. I had some extremely basic questions that I was sure would make the developer roll his eyes. But no - he was extremely supportive and answered my questions quickly and effectively.

This is a extremely useful piece of software and the developer is a huge help if needed.

I purchased this extension without much knowledge of Joomla. I asked the developer to assist me with the configuration, which he did quickly and professionally.

This is a good product with very helpfully documentation and excellent support! I´ve never seen yet, such a cooperative product team like the Comdev Team!

Easy to use with many great features and plugins to fulfill different needs. Although encounter some problems after upgrade but their support team never give up to provide prompt response to resolve it. No doubt to recommend this product.

One of the best Real Estate component out there! Unique feature where users on Front Admin can manage their properties. I found it useful to earn commissions from featured properties. What I missing is membership plans. Keep doing a good work! Almost forgot support is very fast to solve the issues!

I am a simple website user, but I found jomEstate features as a very useful product. I had no difficulties in installing and configuring it. It was so easy to customize according to my preferred page. It has a great potential that I have explored in time when using it. I love the way it looks! It's clean design shows most important property information in very professional way, highly recommended!

My evaluation of the extension : its good for those who is new to joomla. This extension is a tweak of Estate Agent Improved.It has most of the thing u need to kickstart a very very simple real estate site.But for more experience users i will suggeest any cck out there.
Its very impractical when you limit some of the functions that could add value to the extensions. let me point some of them: the acoordion module display all feature. there is no way to disable some of them. The dev could at least
tought carefully abt this and implement a inclusion code. this has been requested but it just goes unnoticed.2. the slider come up strangely when the feature is not selected. Yes its good that we have cck like system to choose the field but its VERY VERY limited.

Pro: very simple, clean n fast. easy to setup.
Cons: Temple is not flexible enough. there is no subcat template. SEF url is not really sef url.Category n Subcat not sortable. (even a simple cck allow you to do this)
Performance: i tested with dummy 100,000 listing i can see the speed of the site greatly reduced. not sure if the dev has tested it to this level.Database need improvements.

Support: is one of the WORST ive seen for a paid customer. Just head down to the forum and witness yourselves.
I really need to send multiple ticket with the CAPS LOCK and attach a printscreen of the forum topic to get dev attentions.

Ease of usage and deployment : This extension force you to accept the coupon system which i dont find it usefull, there shld a variant to have the extension withour coupon system. i beleive this cause the speed issue above mentioned.
Not user friendly design at backend. editing a feature is very not user friendly. i dont this its a core MVC model used. there is some of the usefull j!code that never used that could be used. example the jpane, jtab,etc.
Editing a property is not user friendly. Go n test drive the backend. YOU HAVE TO KNOW the property REF ID IN ORDER TO EDIT THE PROPERTY. Isnt this a joke? a well planned development would not do this.
Purpose of using the extension (i.e., "I used this extension for a magazine site.")

I think the reason why the dev is lacking is could be low number of suscribers and buyers. We could not blame the dev for this. Same as MisterEstate where it goes into thin air with no new suscription.
But dear developer, if you charge people money for your extension you need to provide value for money extension and services. as for me i will forgo my $ and move to cck which is much robust n planned.

Hey but im looking at latest version it seem there is some improvement. if i find it satisfied i will come back again for this extension. This extension has its POTENTIAL.

I'm struggling to understand the mindset of those writing reviews for this component. I could guess that it's friends of the developer or naive buyers but I wont go there.

Anyway, this component is very buggy and certain features dont display as in the demo. When you raise a support ticket, they ask you for more money to perform an 'upgrade' yet warn you that the upgrade has not been tested yet (more bugs await you?)

The bottom line is that with some fairly easy setting up of categories and tags, and adding free plugins to allow google maps etc, K2 would provide you with a much better solution for a property (or indeed any) site. The best part is that K2 is free and much better supported.

If you do have a budget, I'd recommend Joomlart's advanced search feature for k2 and possible tabber pro if you want you site to look very current.

Even with these superior purchases, your final solution would still come in at a fraction of the price of JomEstate.

I'd avoid this one in terms of time and money.
