When it came time to upgrade a site that is using this component, I was a bit worried, because we had done a lot of modifications to the code. We were using EZRealty 5.x on Joomla 1.5.x. Taking this site to the latest version of EZRealty and Joomla 2.5 was made easy by the EXCELLENT SUPPORT. Kathy was more than helpful with detailed questions about the code and locations of the files I needed to modify. I recommend this extension highly.

Great Extension when it worked for us, BUT very disappointing for after a very short period of time it broke.
And we now have an extension that no longer works with the support of Google maps within Joomla 2.5 which is why we chose this extension in the first instance.
Moreover the server now crashes if you (Must Now Disable within the EZ Realty extension) try to use Google maps and brings down the complete web site.
We have now discovered that the only way to get it to now work with Google maps is upgrade to version Joomla 3.0 (additional costs) of which we do NOT require as we only want Google maps to work within our version of the EZ Realty extension.
The bottom line is very disappointing experience for trying to implement and use this EZ Realty extension.

Ezrealty is an excellent component that is feature rich. It suits our needs perfectly and is very easy to customise. Even better is the high level of support you get from Kathy. Its simply the best support I have had for any service/product online.

I have used both the original 1.5 version and the new 2.5 and it is immense. User friendly, powerful, and customisable. Kathy is amazing, I have never experienced support of this magnitude. She deserves more than 5 stars.

I hardly know where to begin, other than to say there aren't enought stars. With this extension running, I was able to build a first rate, fully fetured website for a realtor who wanted something more attractive and user-friendly than the the one hosted by the big name brand his agency is part of. I requested a couple minor tweaks, and needed a little coaching for a difficult trick of my own devising, but the developer responded quickly and politely. Highly recommended.

Recently upgraded from the J1.5 version of EZ Realty to J2.5 and found the product excellent.
Later discovered that some of features, such as the ability of the client to add new countries and/or new states was omitted.
Although this was initially promised with 1 or 2 weeks, later told that it would not be implemented until the J3.0 version was ready.
For my purposes, this makes the product unusable.
Kathy had now suspended my account.

I just upgraded a client's site from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5. Part of this process included upgrading to the newest version of EZ Realty. Knowing nothing about this real estate product I thought I was in for a long learning process.

But the software developer, Kathy, has gone above and beyond to make this process as easy as possible.

She replies quickly to support requests, and takes the time to follow through with each request to make sure the question has been answered and any issues resolved.

One of the best reasons to choose EZ Realty over other choices is the excellent support. Hands down Kathy's support is the best!

Kathy has been busy transforming an already really good product into an amazing product. I have been a customer since the EZ Realty releases for Joomla! 1.5. I have to say that without a doubt this is the best realty component suite on the market in either the "Free" or "Commercial" categories.

Kathy has been hard at work with the restructuring and re-write of this product from the 1.5 release to the newest 2.5 release. Several of her new components have been split from the original component structure for a more robust product which gives the user more flexibility.

EZRealty is used on our website to import multiple properties from numerous real Estate Agents. We have found it really easy to implement everything that we needed our site to accomplish.

We had questions in order to get our site www.apanishproperty.com to do certain things with EZRealty. Kathy the developer was so patient with us and the support that she gave was far superior to what we would have expected.

As we are a large site, I would highly recommend this extension to any one that wants to showcase properties.

I don't normally submit reviews, particularly if I have to register to do so! But I had to submit my review for EZ Realty because I have been hugely impressed, not only with the extension, but with the outstanding support from the developer! Absolutely commendable!

The extension does everything that I needed it to do - I am using it for an FSBO site - currently the extension does not support paid listings, but that feature I believe is coming soon, and currently suits all of my needs!

There are a number of fantastic modules within this extension that really help to make any property listing site look amazing! If you have the right template (I had to adjust my template a couple of times to make it look right because EZ Realty takes on some of your template attributes), then you are A for AWAY!

I honestly cannot think of any cons to EZ Realty - it does what it says it does, its easy to use, easy to install, and if you're an absolute NOVICE to setting up a website, the support from Kathy is phenomenal! She really goes above and beyond, even giving support on a SUNDAY! I did not expect that, but got it anyway! Awesome!

I have NO experience in setting up websites, so if I can get a site up and running, with the help of the developer (I never waited more than a few hours for a response), I think anyone can do it!

I bought this extension because of the look & list of features. What made me really happy is the support. I had some questions about the configurations, and I got quick answers with detail information to all (many) of my questions.
If you are thinking about building a real estate website, I would strongly recommend EZ Realty.

I have got to say that I am supremely impressed with the support offered by this developer. I have submitted several "silly" questions where I should have really done my homework first but the response from Kathy has been incredible.

I am developing a site for a UK estate Agent, Kathy has gone out of her way to assist me with localisation and processing of UK postcode data for me. She has helped with teething issues and CSS adjustments. Although we are on opposite sides of the globe I seem to wait only a few hours for a response.

I fully recommend this product and the wealth of configurable features makes a unique look and function for each site you build.

Of course I started with free realty management extensions which didn't do what I needed or were more of a hassle than it was worth.

I then moved on to the cheaper paid extension which again, wasn't worth the price.

EZ Realty has been great. It does all the things it should do and still offers the flexibility to customize what you need to.

Support is great. Kathy always responds quickly and offers thorough answers.

Love all the extras that come with a single subscription. The Adverts component is amazing, as well as the map component.

I chose this for a client which needed their site revamped. We chose this for it's simplicity and ease of use. You will find it to be an easy to install program and the customization options are virtually unlimited.

I have gone to the author several times during my support subscription and have been blown away by the super quick response time. Never a problem getting an answer and never an issue with their customer service.

My clients have been very well pleased with the software as well. From the front end, your client will be able to add/edit listings just about the same as from the back end so you don't have worry about them going into the back end unless they need to.

There quite a few extensions that can be installed with this which make it a real asset. If you are concerned with sending $$ for support, it will be very worth it. Due to my limited client budget, I could only do 1 month of support, but it has paid for itself more than once.

I had been working in the real estate industry for some time having parted from my IT role of over 25 years. After months of trials and utilizing all manner of other systems (some Joomla based, some not) I was never fully satisfied with the results.

During the past 3 years I have gone back to my roots and using my commercial knowledge alongside my IT skills I have worked with many agents here in Spain to provide a complete solution for their real estate websites. Finally I took the plunge to actually part with some money as I was never satisfied with the results given by the free stuff and even less satisfied with the offerings of most of the paid extensions. However, EZRealty just seems to cover it all. Yes its one you have to pay for but the install and results are so easy to achieve the cost per hour is worth every penny.

The system is complete as far as virtually all requirements are concerned and you can easily utilise system into most colour schemes and template styles.

Support is some of the best I have experienced. There is a time difference for the developer so taking that into consideration I have been very impressed. Most of my support tickets have been answered within minutes during normal office hours and even on Sunday!

So if your looking for a complete solution which is easy to install and has fast support you need look no further. This really has everything you need to create a fantastic fully featured real estate website which doesnt just look good it actually works!

I've tried several of the Real Estate extensions available for Joomla. Regrettably I got sidetracked (along with my money) by another "commercial" extension before my frustration led me to try something else - EZ Realty is by far the BEST choice! Everything I needed was available in the MANY configuration options. The developer has taken a lot of care to make sure EZ Realty has the flexibility to work in a variety of markets. In the few areas where I "just don't get it" the support has been FANTASTIC!

I really cannot praise this application enough. It does what you want it to do and it does it well, and even more important it does it reliably. If you can't get a serious Real Estate site running with EZ Realty then you're not trying. And I've refrained from praise for the developer because superlatives only just fit the bill.

I tried all of them - then I tried EZrealty even before Kathy got rid of the licensing and coding problems, which are all gone now, and my best realtors websites were definitely built with EZrealty. Packed with modules and plugin, the new version is even better and so easy to customize.An absolute must for whoever needs to build a clean and professional looking realtor or rental website. The support is phenomenal and the new price is so affordable for the high quality of the product. 10 stars!
