All functions are there again, including Lightbox in front-end en back-end.
AJAX based dropdown menu for adding vehicles. (send a friend, add/edit cars/categories, makes and models, lots of configuration options!)

It's truly one of the best Joomla extensions out there and I can't say that about many extensions because RD Autos simply makes sense. Its elegant and yet so easy to use that you love working with it. And output is always clean and beautiful. If the gods themselves could have made an extension for Joomla, it would be something like RD Autos.
You may have read the first review where the poster asked for a currency symbol and guess what? The latest 1.5.8 version has an admin field where you can use your choice of currency! Hows that for a change?
Simply put its the only extension you should use if you're in Automotive industry.
My Suggestion To The Developer:
I'm aware that you have a description box where we can put more details about the vehicle like if the car has power windows or not, and whether it has keyless entry or not, etc.
Now if these sort of options can be made available by check boxes, it would be perfect. Because then you can simply tick what else the car offers and be done with the description.
And the description box can be used for "Additional Notes".

I had a client need for a website to list vehicles. At first, I went out and purchased Autostand Pro. It was a nightmare. After several weeks of frustration, not the least of which was due to incredibly bad support, I decided to bite the bullet and buy RD-Autos Pro.
RD-Autos was a breath of fresh air. First of all, the program worked exactly as the developer said it would - no exceptions that I could find. The interface was clean and understandable. Documentation is a bit lacking, but they make up for it with tremendous support.
I was able to easily install the component and module and started adding vehicles right away. They displayed just the way I wanted them to, with a nice lightbox effect on the pix as well.
The client I am providing the site for is not particularly computer literate. However, I was able to show them how to manage their fleet in less than 30 minutes. By the end of that day they had their entire inventory on line. Rob really did a good job in making the interfaces intuitive.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the code is clean and easy to follow. Good commenting is included. The only, and I mean only, issue I found is that there is not included a viable price format options for the US market ($X,XXX.XX). However, a few quick coding changes got me the results I wanted.
If you have a need to sell or display vehicles on the web, this is the extension you need!!

Thank you! All developers should write good comments in their scripts :) I will also add your price format, I've searched the net for the most used formats, but didn't mention the English formats.
I will also write some documentation, but it works so easy that this is not needed :)
