IE6 Updater and Error Message

This module displays either a custom error message or an Internet Explorer update button in the position of your choosing if a site visitor's browser is Internet Explorer 6 or earlier. You may select the option of displaying either a button or custom error message if the user has an outdated version of Internet Explorer. This module will not display if the user has Internet Explorer 7 or later, and will not display with any other browser as it is target specifically to ask folks to update Internet Explorer 6. How annoying is it that we must develop style-sheets for standards-compliant browsers like Firefox, Opera, Safari then make minor adjustments in a second stylesheet for Internet Explorer 7 and a third stylesheet with major adjustments for Internet Explorer 6? We can put an end to the annoying quirks of Internet Explorer 6 by asking folks to update their browser. The optional custom message allows you to even recommend a browser, for example it will offer the link to update Internet Explorer and you may add additional text recommending Firefox. Both the image banner and the custom text automatically offer a free download for the latest Internet Explorer. The custom message allows you to create your own custom error message and custom instructions to display after, "Click Here". For example, if you entered, "Warning, you are using an outdated version of Internet Exporer 6 that may cause problems when viewing this site" in the custom error message param. Then you enter, "to download the latest version of Internet explorer" in the post text custom param, it will print as follows: Warning, you are using an outdated version of Internet Explorer 6 that may cause problems when viewing this site. CLICK HERE to download the latest version of Internet Explorer. This module can be styled with a "Class" param in the backend. Simply apply the class and add style to your stylesheet.

Version 1.5.0 * Improved CSS * Fixed AJAX path issues * Reduced file sizes * Fixed all reported bugs What it is: I use SOBI2 to run a tutorial index and needed a difficulty rating bar but it could be used for any type of voting really. Features: 1. AJAX voting with no page reloading tested and works in newer versions of Safari, Chrome, IE, Firefox, and Opera. A non-JavaScript link can be hard coded, but this will cause the page to reload 2. Works in v-card, no other does this 3. can have two bars in Details, one for voting and the other for whatever you want I use a static one for display at the top, and the other for voting near the bottom with jComments. 4. Can set any bar to be static 5. Can choose to show or not to show text i.e. vote count, loading image 6. Can set separate voting images and loading images for each of the tree bars 7. Set voting to one voter per person, or multiple multiple only allows once per 24 hours 8. Set to allow guests to vote, or logged in users only 9. All images are loaded to select lists from directory listings so that users can easily drop in new image files and access them instantly in admin 10. Set number of rating units from 1-10 11. ArtCats is a module that can automatically list Articles from within a designated Category or can list Categories from within a designated Section. Compatible only with Joomla 1.5 and later.
