JUGA is Joomla component that allows you to set what is available to which users on both your Front-end AND Administrator Control Panel. It is from the crew at Dioscouri Design, who also brought you AMBRA SUBSCRIPTIONS, SYNK, BILLETS, MANGA, TIENDA, and more. JUGA is NOT A HACK and it is NOT ENCODED. JUGA installs and uninstalls *easily* as a component. To activate/de-activate it, just install and publish/unpublish the JUGA Plugin/Mambot. And we believe in leaving our source code open, so you can modify JUGA as you wish. With JUGA, you can assign users to multiple groups. In fact, you can create an infinite number of new groups, so you could assign a single user to a unique group, thereby achieving customized individual access rights for each user. After installing JUGA, merely synchronize it with your site's components and content. Then tell JUGA which variables it should restrict for each component (in the case of Fireboard, for example, you would tell JUGA: "func", "catid", "task", "id", etc). Then, define which items each group has access to. After assigning users to JUGA groups, activate the Plugin/Mambot and voila! It works the exact same way for your back-end. We have released a modified version of the Joomla! Main Menu Module. It has been modified to work with JUGA> > Groups and hides menu items from view when a user doesn't have access to them. We also have a JUGA Content Plugin/Mambot. Now you can show certain portions of a content item to any/none/some/all JUGA> > Groups. It works like JHide and RokAccess. We also have an admin-side template for Joomla! 1.0 that extends JUGA's controls over your J!1.0 Admin Control Panel. This template isn't necessary for J!1.5 as the JUGA System Plugin will already control the admin-side for you. Finally, we also have mod_hiddenbyjuga, a JUGA Module that allows you to HIDE MODULES based on the user's JUGA Group!

Virtuemart to JUGA Group

This plugin creates an easy to use interface between VirtueMart purchases and JUGA ACL group assignment (Joomla User Group Access). Users can be added or removed from JUGA groups automatically based on products purchased in VirtueMart. Please note that our plugin is designed for transactions where payment is completed and the order status is updated to Confirmed during the VirtueMart checkout process. The plugin does not fire for Pending orders (such as orders for "Cash on Delivery" in VirtueMart). The current version of the plugin is not integrated with the admin backend, and will therefore not update JUGA group membership if you change the status of an order in the backend. The "JUGA" ACL extension is owned and published by Dioscouri Design. You must install and configure JUGA (in addition to VirtueMart) in order for this plugin to work! Current v1.1 Features: •Allows automatic addition of a user to a JUGA ACL group based on VirtueMart products purchased •Allows automatic removal of a user from a JUGA ACL group based on VirtueMart products purchased Development Path (non-commercial) •Currently the plugin only supports individual Product IDs, not Product Categories. From the crew behind JUGA, BILLETS, and MANGA comes CONTENT SUBMIT. CONTENT SUBMIT allows you to create front-end "Article Submission forms" that are specific to an existing category or section. In the Joomla! 1.5 Core submission form, you enable all your publishers to publish to all your sections/categories. With CONTENT SUBMIT, you dictate which sections/categories your users can publish to. Do you want your "Teachers" group to only be able to publish to one section? Do you want your "Students" to only be able to publish to another? CONTENT SUBMIT allows you to do that. THIS COMPONENT DOES **NOT** ALLOW GUESTS, UNREGISTERED USERS, OR PLAIN "REGISTERED" USERS TO SUBMIT ARTICLES ON YOUR SITE, so don't download CS expecting it to do so, then leave a negative review based on your faulty assumption. User Group Login Redirect Home Page

The native login module for Joomla, as well as custom login modules (such as the one from Community Builder), have long allowed webmasters to specify a single page or URL to show when a user logs in. That is very helpful to route users, for example, to their profiles or to a page of the latest news or a list of the latest offers. For many sites, that functionality is just fine. Often, however, Webmasters find they need to display a different 'welcome' screen for Registered users, versus Authors, versus Editors, versus Publishers, etc. Then the native login module functionality can get somewhat restrictive. If you run a membership-based site, using Account Expiration Component (AEC) and JACLPLus for example, or you use JUGA, the problem is even more pronounced. You can sell a user a membership using AEC and assign that user to a specific User Group created via JACLPlus. However, the login module will show all users the same screen on logging in. Webmasters often need to get specific information to specific User Groups. Suppose Free Membership users should go to a screen encouraging them to upgrade, while Platinum-level users should go straight to a page full of goodies just for them? The native functionality of Joomla simply doesn't allow this to happen! CorFun has now solved this problem, and expanded the options open to Webmasters for showing custom information at login for different User Groups. The CorFun User Group Login Redirect Home Page Component allows you to set up one URL in the Login Module leading to the Login Redirect Component. The Component then sends the user to the correct login URL (Home page) at log in based on the user group of the user! VM Shopper Group Login Redirect

Virtuemart is the most powerful and most popular shoppign cart for the Joomla CMS. It has an awesome native shopper group capability that can be used to control the display of pricing and other important information in your shop. However, until now, there has been no way to direct shoppers to specific pages when they log in based on their Shopper Group. CorFun's VM Shopper Group Login Redirect closes that gap and now lets store owners direct shoppers of different shopper groups to the best pages for them. CorFun, Inc. has used Virtuemart extensively to build shopping sites for customers for years. Often shops have multiple shopper classes such as Wholesale, Retail, Paid Member, or just Shopper. As a development team, we often found ourselves wanting to redirect Wholesale shoppers to a list of specials for them, while the regular Shoppers needed a different page. We were able to get around this by using JUGA and JACLPlus to create custom ACL groups and then using our regular login redirect component. However, this was not ideal, because it was too much effort and the Shopper Group was the natural place to control this process. Because we needed a simpler process that works with Virtuemart Shopper Groups directly, this component was created. The component installs easily, and set up is very simple. After accessing the component, you will see as many dropdown boxes as you have Shopper Groups in Virtuemart. The first line is for a default URL for any groups not specified. Select as many different Shopper Groups as you like, and map them to different URLs within your store, or even on different Websites.

You can also include the full breadcrumb or pagetitle if you wish. It allows you to have NYTimes.com-style printing capabilities for your website. Your pages are printed without modules or formatting other than the CSS you specify in Printme. Usage Instructions: Install the component via the core Joomla installer. This will install a component and system plugin. Enable the system plugin. In the component, set your custom hearder and footer. On your front-end, affix "tmpl=component&print=1" to the end of any URL to preview what it will look like when being printed (these variables are automatically affixed to com_content URLs when you click the Joomla Print icon")

Manga is a little reporting tool from the crew that brought you JUGA, SYNK, and BILLETS. It is a framework for creating custom reports on various tables in your Joomla! database. MANGA returns pie charts, bar graphs, line graphs, and CSV files from the data you select. Reports can be written to display the information from any of your tables along with CSVs of the data. For example -- * How many users registered each day for the past two months, and what are their email addresses? * How many users registered between January 1, 2008 and today — and what percentage of *all* my users do they represent? * How many sales of this VirtueMart product have I had over the past 10 weeks — and what percentage of its total sales does that represent? * How many downloads of this DocMan file did I have between April 1 and June 30 — and who downloaded them? SYNK, from the crew behind JUGA and BILLETS, is a Joomla! Database Synchronization tool that allows you to synchronize your users, content, and more across multiple databases. If you manage multiple sites and want to allow your users to use a single login id & password for *all* of your sites, then SYNK is for you. SYNK will synchronize the __users table in the selected databases (even across multiple domains) upon the user events you select, such as onLogin and onAfterStoreUser. If you also want to synchronize your content across multiple domains, then SYNK is for you. SYNK will synchronize your __content table in the selected databases upon the content events you select, such as onAfterContentSave and onAfterDisplayContent. SYNK also allows you to execute custom database queries on user and content events. Want to add a user to a new group upon their next login? Want to remove them from a group when they logout? NOTE: Joomla does NOT fire plugin events when it renders content in PDF or RSS feeds, so therefore this plugin will NOT get triggered. SCOUT is an Activity Logger for Joomla from the crew behind TIENDA, JUGA, BILLETS, and SYNK. Scout tracks all the activity on your Joomla site that you specify. It tracks activity by using normal Joomla plugins, which can be enabled/disabled at will. For example, if you wanted to track the activity in the Core Content Manager, you'd just enabled the SCOUT Content Plugin. Then, in your SCOUT logs, you'd see WHO acted on WHAT content article WHEN. It enables private conversations between all users on your Joomla website, and functions the same on your admin-side as it does on the front-end. If you operate a community-based Joomla website, then you probably have some basic components: a user profile manager, a forum, and a private messaging system (PMS).
