Zefania Bible

Zefania bible is a XML file reader program that reads XML files produced by Zefania Group over at sourceforge.net. Ideas on some of the features, and all of the XML files (bibles, commentaries, and dictionaries) for this project were gotten from a JoomBible project that is only running currently with joomla 1.5. Missionary Church of Grace along with Developers and contributors of JoomBible converted Zephania XML bible files into smaller easily manageable sizes. Zefania bible can display over 140 versions of bibles. Currently we have 21 workable bible versions modified for use and 3 commentaries. there is also an ability to add an audio player to play bible mp3 files. Current version comes with KJV pre-loaded, with hard coded commentary once it is enabled. Available Joomla Languages in include English, Russian, German, Czech NOTE: if you are upgrading from 2.5.0 please uninstall 2.5.0 first. language file location has been moved to a different place and will not get removed during upgrade.

IMPORTANT - Starting on January 1, it became apparent that version 1.0.1 causes a fatal error that crashes the site. Please upgrade to resolve this issue... The BiblePlan Module will display the chosen Bible weekly reading plans. It currently has 11 plans to choose from. It allows you to customize the starting date so that you can begin the plan for any time of the year. There is an option to convert Bible verses to links to BibleGateway and/or display Listen online icons (as of version 1.6.0, link parsing no longer requires the Scripture Links plugin). The module uses MVC structure so you can easily modify the output of the verses. Changelog: v1.6.2 - Fixed some issues with verse/chapter parsing for some reading plans v1.6.1 - Fixed an issue caused by spaces in Song of Solomon v1.6 - Joomla 1.6 support! With this component, you can host in your site Online Bibles, Biblical Commentaries and Dictionaries for biblical words. It was developed in order to offer almost same capabilities as some free Desktop programs, as e-Sword or TheWord. The Bibles, Commentaries and Dictionaries are downloaded apart from the actual component. So you are free to install only the modules that you want. You want to install it in your church's website, and all the user's read only in English? So you have just to download King James module. You want to offer them study tools? So you can also download the Strong Dictionary and Keil & Delitzsch commentary. You want to offer to your users some Bibles in the original languages, with Strong Numbers in each word of it? So you can Download the Tanach (Strong) or the Textus Receptus (Strong). Each one of these Bibles has clickable Strong Number references. Once the user click in a word, the Strong definition of it will be loaded in the Dictionary window. It supports Catholic Bibles too, though we didn't have one at the moment. You can also search for a Strong Number in the dictionary or in the Bible with Strong Numbers. And when your user click in a verse, its commentary will show up in the Commentary window. The component uses AJAX to download module's content to the user. If you want to build your own Bible, Commentary or Dictionary module, it's also too easy. Each module is compounded by XML files. The administration help files can help you to build new modules. If you open the XML files in the modules, you can also understand easily how they are structured. Through the JoomBible menu in the Back-End, you can install a new module, delete installed modules or move their position. You can also translate Bible names through Joom!Fish. You can configure the height and width of the windows, the color of these windows and search time. New 0.9.4 version! This new version has now the ability to display Bible reading plans for your users.. It also comes with two plugins: one inserts aBible verse in your articles, and the other is a button in the editor, that make this insertion more easy. The reader will have the verse of the Bible that he choose in his preferences. About convertion to other Joomla versions. Now that I finished this version, I'll work in the translation to other Joomla versions. About convertion tools: A lot of people asked me about convertion tools. I've tried to programm one, but I'm not able to make that kind of programm... So you'll have to be patient... Observation: The JoomBible component relies on the PHP5 class SimpleXML. Make sure your server has PHP5 installed in order that this component works correctly.

A new version of this plugin now creates alias's or uses the alias in BibleStudy version 7.0.2 or higher to create even better SEF links. This plugin works with the popular Xmap component. It extends Xmap to provide html and xml sitemaps of the sermons and media files created with Joomla Bible Study. Requirements: Joomla 1.7 or higher, Xmap 2.0, Joomla Bible Study 7.0.2 or higher. Install like any other plugin then configure. It can sort based on Bible books, years, teachers, or locations.

The Bible, Old and New Testaments in Brazilian Portuguese. Are two components (one for a New and other for the Old Testament) and 4 modules (2 for NT and 2 for VT), to search for and to display a random verse each time you visit the site. The modules depend on the components, which is where they receive the information (database). Components only create the tables to use in modules.
