Vernissage is a Flickr extension for Joomla! 1.5 and Joomla! 1.7. The module displays Flickr photos of a specified user in a browser window, Slimbox or RokBox. Flickr API Key Enter your Flickr API Key here. You can use the delivered key for testing but if you use the module on live websites I suggest that you get an own key. The default key is my developer key registered at Flickr. It may change and your module would stop working. Get an own Flickr API key on their website. Flickr username This is the username whose photos you want to display with the Vernissage module. # of photos The number of photos you want to display # of photos in a row The number of photos in a row. After # is reached a line break will be inserted. Mode Recently uploaded - will show the # of recently uploaded photos. Random - pulls 100 photos and displays # of randomly chosen photos from that list. Display mode "Browser window", "Slimbox" or "RokBox" Include Mootools JS Include Mootools Javascript code? Include Slimbox JS Include Slimbox Javascript code? Cache mode Setting cache mode will use a database table to store the photo list from flickr. I suggest to set this to Yes. Cache time The time in seconds the photo list will be taken from the cache database table until the next one is requested from Flickr. Show powered by Set to Yes will display a small "Powered by Vernissage" message with a link to this page.

Embed a flickr album within an article. These albums can be sourced from a particular flickr photoset, user, group or search string. Photos are displayed according to a user defined grid. This plugin uses 3 javascript libraries to create Flickr Albums. This Flickr Feed Module for Joomla 1.5.x has been made to keep things simple, no over bloated Javascript, or flash causing page load to be an issue. However if you would like to apply such effects to the page it is easily possible without any core modifications to the code. If you have any issues or comments please post them below or at the demo address. The module parameters have the link back to the development website as default turned on. It is made very easy to turn this off in the module parameters - please remember in doing this you are cutting off the ability for other users to learn where your module came from. The functionality list: 1. Specify what user you wish to grab images from 2. Specify the dimensions of the images on your website 3. Specify the amount of images brought through from the feed 4. Change where the images link to, if anywhere 5. Turn on/off a supporting signature to authors website 6. Decide wether to open links in new window or not 7. This is a small module that allow you to display a set of images from your favorite online gallery: Smugmug, Flickr, Picasa, Gallery 2 or any RSS feed. You can also specify up to 5 images instead of using a RSS feed. I did just integrate the Flickr widget from RoyTanck.com as a Joomla module.
