Hot Lightbox module allows you to include series of images on web pages from any directory with images. This module automatically creates thumbnails from your images, as per given parameters. All you need to do is to select a directory with your images and set some styling parameters. The module automatically creates thumbnail images and save them in /thumbs sub-directory of your directory with images. Thumbnail images are created as per your parameters (dimensions and quality). The module will also create a Lightbox slide show. Click on any thumbnail image will open a larger image in the Lightbox pop-up. User can browse images (prev/next) in the pop-up while the rest of the website area will be faded out. Click on any point outside of the Lightbox slide show will bring the website back.

The second image shows when the user mouses over the default image. The third image shows after the mouse is moved off the image. boxplus is an ultimate lightweight pop-up window implementation (commonly known as lightbox) that can show images, video and other multimedia content including Picasa web albums, YouTube and Vimeo videos, Flash, QuickTime, PDF as well as custom HTML content. boxplus exhibits a high degree of personalization with features like thumbnail bar of images inside the lightbox for fast navigation between items, image captions supporting HTML, auto-fit content and auto-center as well as several themes mimicking various popular lightbox implementations. boxplus for Joomla adds a thin layer around boxplus client-side JavaScript code to expose its functionality in the Joomla framework. Since boxplus is written entirely using the Joomla-native MooTools framework, it incurs virtually no extra overhead and you should not expect script conflicts, which are likely to arise with other plug-ins built on top of different JavaScript libraries. USAGE Organize the content on the page as you normally would but add a "rel" attribute that starts with "boxplus" to any links you would like to bind a boxplus lightbox pop-up window to.
