This plugin allows you to import CSV data into Sobi from you favorite spreadsheet program. Mutliples categories and images are supported. Very helpful for starting with Sobi. The data importation is not easy in Sobi, because the database structure is complex. That take a big time to import any data via manual sql queries. What can do this plugin: * Import data from a CSV file (spreadSheet). * Create a CSV template from your custom fields. * Import data into the custom field from SOBI. * Each entry can be set into the allowed number of categories. * The program can import any type of data (textarea, text, listbox, checkbox). * You can choise the owner of the entries. * You can import images and icons. 3.1.0 : support enclosure charter (better support of excell) At the moment I have write this plugin (04.2008), it's no way to import datas into sobi. Running these files in your PHP Myadmin will make add all the USA states as categories in your SOBI installation. Instructions for us: Unzip the file. Run each SQL file using PHPmyadmin on the Joomla Database ( where you have SOBI installed) you want to insert States as a category.

No hacks to the joomla or sobi core. Everything is encompassed in third party modules, plugins, customTasks and components designed to work specifically with sobi2 and joomla. Spacial SQL for geo search. AJAX calls for map search results. (no postbacks) sobi plugin fetches lat and long using city, state, zip, country so users don't have to fetch coordinates themselves. I've been reading your posts and I tried to incorporate the most common requests into this new release. New stuff: Version 2.0 1.) added metric parameter to mod_geosearch admin for kilometers/miles 2.) admin has the option to list all US states or just provide an empty text box for non US users. 3.) admin has the option to select what he wants the search to default to, either polygon or radius. 4.) V-card listings are now shown in the order of nearest to furthest when doing radius searches. More new stuff. Version 3.0 5.) Added google labs library of screen markers. An array of colors is now available. 6.) Added default terrain type. 7.) Option to change polygon,radius line and fill colors. 8.) Auto Find feature allows the map to auto locate the user and attempts to pre-populate the city, state, country, zip codes. 9.) Fixed bubble template to show addresses correctly. 10.) Moved bubble template to module parameters. 11.) Added marker clustering for large result sets. 12.) Refactored code for quicker results. 13.) Upgraded google maps javascript code to 3.0 API.

SOBI featured slideshow module

Modified version of sobi2_simplefeatured to inlcude a javascript slideshow, using jquery and the crossslide plugin. The idea was to combine rokslide with sobi entries, we did it. sobi2_simplefeatured v2.0.6 Pretty simple to install and configure, just the same process with a little tweaks for the slideshows. Through the install process you should take notice of the output of sobi2 simple featured now. With slideshows turned on in the configuration panel the slideshow box will display before any other sobi2 simple featured data will and it will then proceed to output the data sequentially according to the data ordering. Also, it is highly recommended to increase the width and height of the default setting for logo pictures, the bigger the picture the better the slideshow, if the picture you're trying to use is too small for the slideshow width and height set in the configuration panel then it will not display and you will get error in your javascript console telling you so. Tested with Joomla! 1.5.14 and jQuery 1.3.2. Possible incompatibilities/bugs to be resolved: * Sometimes does not play nice if two or more featured modules are installed, but I think have resolved most it's issues resolving around namespace. * If the pictures with your content vary in large amounts in height and width there might be some inconsistancies with the javascript plugin Todo: * Better slideshow control * Combonation with entry module that allows more than one image per entry --------------------- Update ----- Check out the video tutorial on installation http://webeddy.com/community/124-sobi-slideshow-module-v2-simple-featured-slideshow-for-sobi2

Google Maps Coordinates

Adds link "Get coordinates" and "Show map" in "Add/Edit entry" form in front-end and back-end. After clicking first one there are set coordinates in form depending on address in this form without showing map. After clicking "Show map" there is displayed Google Map in Lightbox window with marker pointing to found location. Marker can be dragged to correct its position. When new location is set in Lightbox window there is displayed message. Plugin can also convert coordinates to GPS format and set it in fields - specified in plugin configuration. You can customize plugin in administration panel and by editing CSS file. FEATURES: - setting coordinates depending on address without showing map - correcting localization on map with draggable marker - converting coordinates to GPS format - supports Internet Explorer 6+ - supports Mootools version 1.11 and 1.2.x - use Google Maps API v3 to set coordinates - additional fields for coordinates in DMS (Degrees, Minutes, Seconds) format: 19° 57' 35.64" E LANGUAGES: English, German, Polish, Spanish I you have translated plugin to other language, please send me your language file. Register plugin for sobi2

This plugin allows your visitors to create their user account at the same time they create their entry Sobi. This plugin add in the add entry form some fields useful to create the joomla user account (like the email, username, ...). You need to assign some existing Sobi fields (field_email, field_name, ...). If Community Builder is present, the profile is create at the same time with minimal informations. In case of registred user, the login proccess is made, and in case of registred users, the password and username dont apears. No Joomla confirmation email is sent, but you can use the sobi notification email to send the user login informations. Last update: the plugin try to synchronise the Sobi2 entered values with the CB or JS profile. SOBI Gallery

The Gallery Plugin for SOBI2 allows adding an unlimited number of images to an entry. Thumbnails will be shown in the Details View vertically or horizontally. By clicking on a thumbnail a big image will be shown in the Lightbox of Lokesh Dhakar or alternatively in Slimbox by Christophe Beyls if MooTols library is already installed. Also it is possible to show the images in a popup window (best results in Firefox only). In the Category View (on each V-Card) the number of images of an entry and/or the first thumbnail of the Gallery can be shown. If no Gallery images are available for an entry a "no images available" text can be shown alternatively. A description can be added to each image. The description will be shown in the Lightbox and as image-alt-tag. Adding images to the Gallery only by administrator is also possible. The number of images per row is adjustable, so the Gallery can be shown in multiple columns and rows. The table sizes are calculated automatically depending on the thumbnail size (if adjusted). For the Gallery there are language files available for Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, English, German and Spanish. Missing texts are always in English. The plugin requires at least SOBI2 RC2.8.x.

In this plugin the admin can choice the entries to send an email by selecting categories (include sub categories or not), and/or by making filters with some operators from fields (like field_country = Switzerland). The emails can be created by using the Sobi and custom fields placeholders texts, and the Sobi signature is used. You can check the entries to see if an email address is present, and can can simulate the send to see each email content. The emails are send by package of 20, 50, 150 or 300 entries at once, and a server pause is automaticaly made betwen each passe. It's possible to send an test email to the address of your choice. Attachment are allowed.
