FBoxBot is a joomla bot/plugin. The main idea is to help the user to create easily thumbnails from any pictures, and when you click on the thumbnails a nice "lighbox-like" popup appears that show the image at its original size. So what makes this package so special ? First: I've written the associated popup script, frontbox, which I wanted to be lightweight, polyvalent, reliable. And Second: I made the process of creation of thumbnails easier than ever: inside your favorite wysiwyg editor insert a picture, resize "manually" (see picture on website), save, publish and the bot will do the remaining job for you ! But it has also some other nice features I discuss on the website ... Download link: scroll at the bottom of all explanations. You must have javascript activated in order to download the two files (support for joom 1.5 & 1.0x are in separate files). Last update: automitically add next/previous action on images in same article (can be disabled), improved naming of thumbnails, better support for fcke and more. If you update fboxbot, I advise you delete your cached thumbnails to free some disk space (naming of thumbnails changed a bit).

Many Joomla! users have faced the need to output articles in a category or section blog layout, especially multi-column, with smaller pictures while retaining their original size inside the article view. It may sometimes also be necessary to include a picture of reduced size accompanied with a link to the full size image in the article view. SmartResizer plug-in is a universal solution to those needs. This light plug-in creates two thumbnails for an image inside an article: the first is for inclusion inside the article and the second is for a category or section blog. This makes it possible to create a small thumbnail for a category blog, section blog and front page articles, and a midsize thumbnail for the article view. The plug-in also automatically creates a reference to a full-size image if the picture has the thumbnail inside the article. Supported image formats: JPG, PNG, GIF. ImageFlow for Joomla

ImageFlow is a picture gallery, which allows an intuitive image handling. The basic idea is to digitally animate the thumbing through a physical image stack. That intuitive handling is automatically caused by the metaphorical use of the well known process of thumbing through. ImageFlow for Joomla was derived from ImageFlow 0.9 by Finn Rudolph. Features: HTML output of the images is controlled by an output template file that you can create. This means that ImageFlow can be adapted to any one of several image display scripts (Shadowbox, Lightbox, Highslide JS, etc.). Currently, output templates are provided for Shadowbox and Highslide JS. By default, Highslide JS is used to display the popup image. Note: Highslide JS must be installed seperately. It is not installed by this module. Thumbnails, with reflections, are automatically created from the source image and cached on the server for quick retrieval. Thumbnail size is specified as a percentage of the source image size. Images are loaded via an image list text file, all images in a single directory or both. JPG, PNG and GIF image types are supported. Thumbnails can be created with or without transparency. An upper limit can be set on the number of images loaded from a directory. Optionally hide or show the image slider and caption line. Scales 100% dynamically. The look and size of the imageflow container can easily be modified via CSS.
