Check your Joomla! files for unwanted modifications. Don't just rely on the version number, be sure you're up-to-date AND haven't been hacked! The Version Verification Tool ships with a list of all files that have shipped with Joomla 1.5 since the first release. Then, using a hashing algorithm, each file on your server is checked against the release it should be to verify that it's integrity remains intact. This tool is a must use for us at CMS Market before any Joomla upgrades, afterwards to ensure that the upgrade went smoothly, and periodically as a check to make sure that nothing has been unintentionally modified on our server. There are known hacks out there which modify specific core Joomla files in order to send login credentials to 'bad' people by email, to insert spam in output, or other nefarious things. The Version Verification Tool will help you to know as soon as possible if your site may have been unknowingly modified. Going forward, we want to create a simple plugin mechanism so other developers can add their own extensions for file verification. This tool is a must for any site. As any Joomla! developer will know, its great fun creating the template/module/plugin or component but not fun having to manually write that list of files into the xml file afterwards! Here is a solution, the module above will simply let you upload a .zip (without your .xml file and then it will parse through the .zip and then output some clean XML file list for you automatically. All you need to do is select template or module, and specify a module name if you chose module. The program will do the rest, if you have a component or plugin, unfortunately I haven't encorporated those yet, but if you use the XML creator for 'template' it will atleast give you the full list of files, this will potentially save you a lot of time when creating a templateDetails.xml or a general addon XML file. Instead of downloading the actual module and running it on your website, you can use the module on my site should you need to. My module is made so it deletes all files afterwards, so if you are making a commercial plugin you can be safe in mind that the code is not kept on my server for longer than a few seconds.

Dynamic XML Sitemap for Google

This is a dynamic sitemap module with template that creates an XML list (in the Google sitemap format) of all content on your site with options to show or hide categories & sections, restricted content and the date tag. Allows for manually entered links so you can include pages that are not generated by the module. For example: links from installed components (except VirtueMart & Kunena) are not included yet in the sitemap, but you can include these links by editing the module parameters. Just separate all URLs with a space and they will be added to the sitemap. Please see the README file for info on SEF links and ways you can help.
