Check your Joomla! files for unwanted modifications. Don't just rely on the version number, be sure you're up-to-date AND haven't been hacked! The Version Verification Tool ships with a list of all files that have shipped with Joomla 1.5 since the first release. Then, using a hashing algorithm, each file on your server is checked against the release it should be to verify that it's integrity remains intact. This tool is a must use for us before any Joomla upgrades, afterwards to ensure that the upgrade went smoothly, and periodically as a check to make sure that nothing has been unintentionally modified on our server. There are known hacks out there which modify specific core Joomla files in order to send login credentials to 'bad' people by email, to insert spam in output, or other nefarious things. The Version Verification Tool will help you to know as soon as possible if your site may have been unknowingly modified. The module called Ping and Related Articles adds pingback functionatily to Joomla similar to the functionality you can find in Wordpress and it add similar articles with the subject of the pages from your website. You can publish the module to the pages of want on your website (some pages or all of them). The first step is to index them as your website is accessed and to add the related articles. The second step is to create a XML sitemap that you can use to submit to Google, Yahoo or Bing - you can select the name of the XML file, but it will always be written on the Joomla website index folder (for example the link of the XML file will look something like http://joomla.webdesign-software-code-seo.com/sitemap_pingrelatesarticles.xml. The third and final step is to ping other websites to let the know about your pages. Because the considerable quantity of pages of some websites, we decided to keep the pinging in the background (it pings one article every few minutes) to avoid the load of the server and to spam the Update Servers. A Ping is a message is used to let other people know that you have published new content on your site. The ping message is sent to different Update Servers (the list has about 90 items, but the list is always updated and improved), including blog listings like Google Blogs (for example). Call to undefined function xmlrpc_encode_request If you get this error you have to have to install the XML-RPC PHP extension, or ask your provider to install it if you are on a hosted domain. The module will no work without it. The module works on Joomla 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5. Our refund policy: you have 3 days (72 hours) to test our product and to ask a refund. Short: EasyCreator is a developer tool. It tries to speed up the developing process of custom components, modules, plugins, libraries, templates, CLI- and Web Applications. You can create a 'frame' for your extension and an installable zip package with just a few 'clicks'. Long: EasyCreator tries to assist from the start to the release of your custom extension. You can start up by creating a 'frame' (read: 'hello world' applications - slightly enhanced) for your extension based on predefined templates for components, modules, plugins and templates. This frame will be installed automatically into your running Joomla! installation. Ready to use. You can also import your already existing and installed extension. Now it's up to you to fill that frame with your custom code (we assume you already know about that ;) EasyCreator also tries to assist you in the creation of multilingual extensions. This is done by comparing the existing language file to each other and then examine the PHP and XML code for appearences of 'JText::***'. The results are then compared and give you a pretty overwiew of untranslated strings, missing and obsolete translations. Flow is a flexible, event driven framework that enables you to restrict content, With this, you can restrict all content, no matter what components you are working with. Flow is an application blender. Through the use of its 'modules' it can make all 3rd party components operate seamlessly together, as if they were designed that way in the first place. The Image Scroller FX can be embedded in any website for free without any Flash knowledge. It can have an overall width and height up to 1680 x 1050 pixels. It supports the following files: JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF for the thumbs, which are configurable through the images.xml file. The Scroller can be set to have infinite or finite scrolling, supporting different thumbs dimensions. There are a multiple highly customizable scroll properties like speed (on roll over or roll out), reflection, tooltip properties etc. On roll over can be applied different effects like: zooming, transparence, color saturation. eXtroForms - the form component for Joomla 2.5 eXtroForms allows the user to create any number of forms, which in turn can contain any number of input fields. The entire range of available HTML input fields was mapped to eXtroForms. An input field can be created in the backend as easy as writing a standard Joomla article, then you determine the position at which it will be displayed on the form and that's it. For this there are 5 different display positions. Of course you can copy the fields, delete or rearrange them if you are not satisfied with the original arrangement. A preview function in the backend ensures that you can preview your form at any time, without the hassle of sharing it in the frontend. In the front end 4 different output options are available: static tooltips, instant tooltips, tooltips with sliding effect or bubble-tooltips. The layout can be customized via CSS in the backend, every single form has it's own CSS style sheet, so that maximum variability is guaranteed. The meta-information (description, title and keywords) can also be specified separately per form. If a user has filled in the form in the frontend, he can receive (depending on the settings in the backend) a confirmation email and be forwarded to a selected thank you page. eXtroForms is also perfectly suitable for multilingual sites: From Joomla 1.7, the forms can be translated natively without an additional component. To protect your form against misuse, you can secure it in addition to the built-in security-mechanisms by extro-media.de with Google ReCaptcha. If a filled in form should still be spam then this request will be filed automatically under suspicion of spam. You can view this folder in the back end separately, and if you decide that an inquiry is not spam, you can move it with a single click to the normal requests. You can view all queries in the backend or export them via CSV or XML. eXtroForms was built completely from scratch according to the Joomla MVC design and is based on theJoomla Framework. It produces no so-called spaghetti code in the frontend, is XHTML and CSS3 compliant and accessible through the renunciation of tables and is therefore ideal for users and search engines. The form generator mod_qlforms is based on the Joomla! xml form generation. Any parameter (calendar, text, email etc.) is at your service. You can use it as: * contact form * form to fill database tabel * major survey jumping from one form to the next * do something else in prepared class for developers Validation both via Javascript and PHP via Joomla! Data is sent via email to a contact email address and / or is stored in database table. Also possible is cascading the forms, so that you can generate a major survey jumping from one form to the next and storing finally the data in database. Updated for Joomla 3.0! The easiest and most simple plugin to add the google analytics tracking code, supplied by google, to your site. Now you can just add the Web Property ID... OR you can paste in the full code supplied by google...or whatever you want! You can also choose where it loads, in head or end of body section. Asynchronous Google Analytics tracking code and adds it just before the closing html head tag for faster (asynchronous) loading of your website (without having to modify your template's default code)! If your site was slow because of google analytics, try this! This eliminates the lag caused by the old google analytics urchin.js and gs.js codes that had to be loaded at the bottom before the closing body tag. http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/tracking/asyncTracking.html We just wanted to give back to the Joomla community in one small way! You can view the source code of our site to see it in action (demo above)! DIRECTIONS: Just install, goto plugin manager (EXTENSIONS -> PLUGIN MANAGER, click on it, then add your UA-XXXXXXX-X Web Property ID in the plugin settings (make sure Web Property ID is selected, and set ENABLE to YES!.
