Protect Your Joomla Site with a SSL Certificate

A SSL certificate is what makes possible to access a site through https -  the "s" is for "Secure".

If your Joomla site allows user login and registration,  you need an SSL certificate as soon as possible to keep the information your users submit encrypted. Otherwise, if any of your users login connected through public WiFi, their data will be submitted as plain text and can be intercepted by other people.

In two steps, solve this requirement.

Joomla Tip: Debug System for Super Users Only

Debug system is a useful feature for Joomla developers to check session information, database queries, log messages and more.

When it's enabled, all the system information is available to anybody who visit the website, however thanks to the plugin's flexibility is possible to restrict this feature to super users.

In this tutorial I'll share with you how to enable debug system only for the people in charge; very useful to debug production sites.

Dear JED Users,

You might have experienced some issues with the JED website over the past few days, we apologise for this. It appears that the outage has been resolved. The cause of outage came from within our data centers and this can be explained, in part, by organic growth.

We know it was extremely frustrating for many of you. We’d like to inform to Joomla community about the collaboration and efforts that were taken to solve the issue.

Joomla World Conference 2015, the biggest world Joomla! event, took place in Bangalore, India. This year it celebrated Joomla's 10th Birthday. It was very special and the celebration was astounding.
