From JAB17: JED Reviews from the developers perspective

Love it or hate is, the Joomla! Extensions Directory (JED) is the single, must go to, area for integrators and web builders looking to extend the capabilities of their websites. For developers the scoring and review section can become an area of frustration and angst. This session will attempt to put it all into some perspective and in particular guide the developer through the best practice for building a strong reputation on the JED, often in the face of seemingly impossible users. Where reputations can be gained or lost within a few keystrokes, this should be an informative session for those relying on the JED.

A reminder: Updates to Listing Requirements on Jan 10th 2017

A reminder that all extensions listed on the JED will soon be required to use the Joomla Update System. This will help to ensure that site owners are always notified of when a new version of their installed extensions is available. Keeping extensions up to date can help to improve security.

From Joomla World Conference 2015: JED in Action

Joomla World Conference 2015, the biggest world Joomla! event, took place in Bangalore, India. This year it celebrated Joomla's 10th Birthday. It was very special and the celebration was astounding.

For me, this event was my first Joomla! international event and a wonderful opportunity to meet part of my fellow JED Team members. There are no words to express the magnitude of the event. These are our postcards.
