ES Audio Player allows you to create a simple but sleek audio player with playlist in your Joomla website.
The whole process is automated, but also customizable: You just have to create a folder and upload your tracks there, same for the track images, and load them both in your audio player.

The powerful options allows you to select an entire music folder and the module will create the playlist for you, automatically, with information like title, artist name, album name, the year when the track was released and the duration of the track. Basically in just 3-4 clicks it is ready to use.

Once you are done with setting up your playlist, you can customize the visuals: what info would you like to be displayed, colors, player and font sizes.

It works with .mp3 and .ogg file formats, so it can run even on old browsers.

Fully responsive and mobile friendly.

Some of the features:
- Automated folder reading - Select your music folder and photo folder (the folder where you uploaded the thumbnails for each song) then press "Select" button, and your playlist will autopopulate with the informations for each song
- Autoplay - if you want the player to start automatically at page load
- Display minified - this option allows you do have a minified version of the player on your website.
- Custom fields for each track information - if you want to change the track's info, eg. "artist name", you can do that by writing your own in the custom field. You can also set a followup link and price for each track. (comes in handy if you have a music shop)

Functionality

This player is fast, responsive, and impressively lightweight. My pages load fast and the player looks great!

Ease of use

This is the easiest Joomla extension I've added to my website. It's ready to go after installation. Just add your audio and customizations.

Support

Support is great! Questions are answered quickly and thoughtfully.

Documentation

Documentation is basic. However; player is so simple to use and understand, documentation is not needed.

Value for money

This audio player is a steal at this price! I'm amazed at how lightweight and powerful it is!

I used this to: A website that sells beats and music. All my music is currently stored in-house and can be easily played for customers to browse. The link on the player provides a convenient way to allow customers to make purchases.

Functionality

Works out of the box for most users, it's a module that can be put in a template position or loaded right into an article.

Ease of use

Setup is simple and easy, you can also fit css values to make it blend in with your template.

Support

Excellent: The player did not really meet my demands fully. I contacted support and tthey were able to help me immediately and hassle-free.

Documentation

Doc page is sufficient. If in doubt, don't hesitate to ask for help, you'll get it

Value for money

OK for commercial use. To use this on a hobby site, you'll have to consider the price tag

I used this to: A customer site with a whole bunch (>1500) of speeches that can both be played and downloaded.

Functionality

This extension is providing a easy solution for setting up a playlist. All it needs is to create a Map/Directory with the mp3 filies.

Ease of use

Very easy to use because of the way the playlist is constructed. Also the layout can be amended to ones liking.

Support

Support is great and the developer has no problem to work with user to achieve the resuqsted solution.

Documentation

Is good and easy to follow. The setup process is very well explained.

Value for money

This extension is not very expensive and therefore worth you while.

I used this to: Setting up a playlist of weekly broadcasts containing mp3 files.

Very easy! No documentation needed. The backend and the settings are clearly arranged and self-explanatory.

Great Support! We've missed a sorting setting for the playlist. Adrian, the developer, helped very fast with adding the missing function.

The documentation is ok, but it isnt really needed because it's clearly arranged and self-explanatory.

Value for money

Absolutley! So why have I to explain it in more than 64 characters?

I used this to: A Podcast on a school website. MP3s are uploaded via FTP and the Playlist is automatically can be generated with a click within the module.

Functionality

Has a rich set of features and options regarding playlists, layouts and player controls.

Ease of use

Once you have it installed and configured, it is very easy to use.

Support

Support was excellent ... quick and helpful responses. I was given the opportunity to make sure the extension worked on with PHP 8.0

Documentation

Pretty good documentation ... step by step on how to install, and configure and setup playlists.

Value for money

Compared to other Joomla extensions, this is good value for money.

I used this to: For a website where I have digitized historical heritage music from bands and performers. I have pages for the various artists including a playlist of their music, and information on their album and the performers.
