On the front-end it allows the user to view the score and play it in real-time provided the browser has the Sibelius Scorch plugin installed.

The plugin displays a link to the Sibelius website to allow a user to download the required browser plugin directly from Sibelius.

The plugin comes with iPad support - detects an iPad and offers a download link of the Sibelius Score to the iPad for playing in the Avid Scorch Player App.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Scorch at this time only supports browser playback of Sibelius version 6 and below - IT DOES NOT SUPPORT VERSION 7, so if you have version 7 files, you need to export your .sib files to version 6 else they will not work on any website using Scorch. This is not a limitation of the plugin but of the official Scorch playback engine. Avid Scorch player for iPad will however play version 7 files.
