Good extension

Functionality
Very flexible. Useful to be able to reduce the languages offered. Would be helpful if we could change the order of the languages in the menu
95
Ease of use
Easy to configure, although time-consuming to unset a lot of languages, if you only want to offer a few.
100
Support
Did not need support but on the forum it looks like they are responsive.
100
Documentation
Doesn't really need much documentation, but the docs are clear and concise anyway.

Value for money
I used this to: A UK-based site that needed to offer a Welsh translation.

Very happy with this extension

Functionality
Excellent functionality. Does exactly what my client wanted, and does it well.
94
Ease of use
Admin interface can be a bit awkward when you have hundreds of groups, but that's not really surprising. Generally easy to use and configure
100
Support
Very good. When I needed support, I got a response within half an hour of my initial email.
100
Documentation
Comprehensive and well-written documentation.
100
Value for money
Amazing value. Its not free, but it is very very cheap.
I used this to: For allowing users to manage their own user registration process, including specifying which member organisation they belong to.
Owner's reply: Thanks for your positive feedback Simon, based on your feedback we have included caching on the usergroup list for faster loading.

Superb basis for an integrated platform

100
Functionality
Joomdle goes way beyond single-sign-on; it has masses of functionality for bringing Joomdle and Moodle together into a unified platform.
94
Ease of use
A little complex for the developer when creating the site, but once set up it makes things really easy for both site admins and end users.
100
Support
Excellent support. Even difficult questions are answered promptly. Bugs are patched quickly, and they respond well to feature requests too.
80
Documentation
Developer docs are good but definitely need expanding. Fortunately, the excellent support makes up for any deficiencies here.
-1
Value for money
I used this to: An online training resource for a large UK governmental organisation.

Unbelievably flexible

100
Functionality
Even the free base extension has masses of functionality. If you have the paid extras, it's very difficult to find anything it can't do.
80
Ease of use
Easy to use day-to-day once it's set up, but configuring some features is quite hard (eg custom layouts).
100
Support
Flawless support. Seriously, I've asked several questions, of varying difficulty, and had excellent answers to all of them. Very impressed.
95
Documentation
Excellent documentation for most of it. A few areas could use improvement, but not really surprising given the sheer number of features.
-1
Value for money
I used this to: Events management and bookings for a country park in the UK.

Dead easy

100
Functionality
Doesn't need a whole load of options: it does what it does, and it does it well.
100
Ease of use
Really really simple.
100
Documentation
Short, concise, tells you everything you need to know. Doesn't need huge docs because it's so simple, but what docs it does have are good.
-1
Value for money
I used this to: Making it easy to add YouTube videos anywhere in my site.

Needs some QA

100
Functionality
Stands out above the rest as by far the most functional donations extension.
75
Ease of use
Vast number of options, at times confusing. Not helped by the default values which have a lot of typos and poorly written text.
100
Support
I have not yet made use of the support. However questions seem to be answered fairly promptly on the forum.
85
Documentation
Docs are good, but need to be expanded to explain some of the concepts better, and more info about all those configurable textbox fields.
100
Value for money
I have no problem paying a small sum for an extension like this. But it would be helpful to have a free lite version available for evaluation

Worth paying for

100
Functionality
All the functionality you could ask for and more. Excellent.
100
Ease of use
A lot of options, so a little daunting at first, but actually really easy to use once you get past that.
100
Support
Top rate support: I asked a question and had an answer within five minutes.
100
Documentation
Totally comprehensive: 67 pages! Includes detailed troubleshooting notes and tips. Possibly the best docs I've seen for a package this size.
100
Value for money
So cheap that it's worth paying extra for the longer support just to show your support for the developers.
I used this to: A site that needs to have several contact forms for different purposes.

Flawed

Functionality
Fatal flaw: The generator tag is only removed if the field is set blank. But default value on the field means that you can't set it to blank
70
Ease of use
Easy to use if you want to change the generator tag. Impossible to use if you want to remove it entirely.
-1
Value for money
I used this to: Removing the generator meta tag identifying the site as Joomla. This is to make it harder for automated hacking tools to work out what CMS we're using. Unfortunately I had to modify the plugin to make it work as intended. I removed the default field value from the plugin's XML.

Useful tool

95
Functionality
Excellent. Only thing I'd add is an Are you sure alert, given that it's deleting data and is non-reverseable. But for one-off use, it's fine
100
Ease of use
Simplicity itself. (again, maybe even *too* easy to use! Make sure to uninstall it after use if you don't want end users having accidents).
100
Support
Haven't needed any, but it looks well supported, so top marks.
100
Documentation
Excellent.
-1
Value for money
I used this to: Resetting hits generated during development, so that the site can launch in a pristine condition.
