A must-have extension!

Functionality
The Advanced Module Manager makes it a breeze to manage modules and it's far superior to what Joomla. offers. It should be part of the core.

Ease of use
Installation is straightforward & configuration is not difficult either. The various options to assign modules precisely are laid out well.

Support
Support is awesome, prompt & professional. Special thanks to Peter van Westen for helping to solve a frustrating issue on an upgrade site.

Documentation
Comprehensive, tho hardly used since it is easy to use. Professionally created documentation is available in the form of videos & tutorials.

I used this to: We have the Pro version installed on each and every one of the dozens of sites we have built over the years. It has become absolutely indispensable and is one of the first extensions installed when we start on a new site.

Excellent Extension

Functionality
For a free extension, Facebook Photo Albums does a very good job. works as advertised.
100
Ease of use
Easy to use, tho I missed some steps, no fault of the developer.

Support
One of the best I must admit. He was on it quite fast and I'm sure there is a time difference between him and me.

Documentation
Follow the steps; and get your FB Access Token as follows: http://www.graphicaholic.com/downloads/FacebookFanPage/AccessTokenDocs.pdf

Good gallery extension, but

Functionality
Overall pretty good. But I needed to provide admin access to a new usergroup and wasn't able to do this. No permissions in Global Config!

Ease of use
I consider it very easy to use. The only thing you may want to read up on is how to batch upload zipped image files.

Support
It's a free extension & support is non-existent. That's fine, but I don't see a community forum where users can share notes and help others

Documentation
Information can be found, though largely not necessary since the extension is easy to use. But there is next to nothing on permissions.

I used this to: Photo gallery on a non-profit's website. It's used mainly for the organisation's events and does a good job, mostly. The downside is that permissions could not be assigned to a new usergroup. I don't see permission settings anywhere. This is a major minus point for my purpose.

I could not find any way to contact the developer to report an issue: Plugin Googlemap disappears when I use Scriptsdown. Any solution?

I used this to: Would like to use them for websites I develop.
Owner's reply: Email address in extension manager - manage when viewing my plugin, or the email icon on my website (at the top of the page)

Some javascript needs to be at the top of the page. The plugin has an "exclude" setting where you can type some portion of the javascript to be left at the top. Beware though, javascript dependencies may require you to keep more and more at the top of the page. In some cases, where dependencies run too deep, my extension isn't worth using.

I suspect that the googlemap won't have many dependencies as their gmaps are usually pretty self contained.

I'd turn the plugin on and off while inspecting the scripts loaded. When you've identified something unique about the scripts, you can use the exclude setting to keep them at the top.

Or, just email me and we can work this out.
