Functionality
There is no way to add a password-to-open to the spreadsheet. Ruediger offered to custom develop this, but I came up with a workaround.

Very clear to use - I barely needed the manual.

Unusually outstanding support - A+. Ruediger responded immediately to a minor issue I had, and quickly developed a patch.

Value for money
Well worth the money
I used this to: jDBexport was a great way for our club to transition from an Excel based membership database to an online Community Builder database. We still have many workflows that require the spreadsheet, but now they can be automatically generated/maintained from the database.
Owner's reply: Carl, this is just to let you know:
PHP 7.2 (as of upcomming RC-2) seems finally capable of handling zip file passwords. We are investigating this (but it looks very promissing)...
