Functionality
Does everything it says on the box.
100
Ease of use
Couldn't be easier. Installation no problems. Setting up is quick. Has several display options.
100
Support
Support is first class. I wanted a few display changes to suit my site and the developer customised everything for me. Couldn't be happier.
100
Documentation
Yes good, but it's so easy to use, you'll probably not need it.
100
Value for money
Definitely. The big advantage is that my client can update all his events in facebook without having to access the site admin.
I used this to: Displaying events on a Band's website. I use both the calendar display and the list display. And it's fully responsive.

Once I got my head around this, I began to discover a wide variety of functions.

Ease of use
A little tricky at first but soon becomes second nature. Data entry is very fast. Would benefit from having images available for each dish.

Support
I needed support at the beginning and it was outstanding. Even though I'm in Australia, I got replies within a few hours. Brilliant!
90
Documentation
Documentation is good, but could do with a few more screenshots.

Value for money
My client was happy with the cost and I am sure he will see a good Return on Investment.
I used this to: A new restaurant that is due to open in a few weeks.

Functionality
Works really well in Joomla content, but I mistakenly expected it to work in Virtuemart.
100
Ease of use
Works in content straight out of the box

Support
Developer gave me a full refund even though I hadn't checked beforehand if it would work with Virtuemart. Many thanks guys.

Great Extension and Excellent Support

95
Functionality
Does what it says - brilliantly
90
Ease of use
It takes a little while to get you head around the structure - images sit within events and events sit within categories - but good.
100
Support
Absolutely Brilliant !! Had some layout problems and Sven was extremely helpful (and patient).
85
Documentation
Being a visual person rather than a coder, the docs could do with more screen grabs to illustrate setting etc. Otherwise, good.

Value for money
I used this to: My friend's photography site.

Functionality
This is a VERY powerful extension offering a huge number of uses. It displays well and looks professional.
100
Ease of use
Once you get your head around it, this is fairly easy to use - especially if you're using it as a basic calendar/events list.
100
Support
I had problems with extra fields but with excellent support from the team - and a lot of patience too - I finally got a handle on it. Thanks
100
Documentation
On the whole it's good, but does assume some varying degrees of coding knowledge, not so easy for us right-brainers. Support makes up for it

Value for money
I used this to: Managing weekly music events at a blues club. The custom fields option allows me to show multiple bands each week, with their performance times. This means that jEvents is the core extension on our site and controls all the artists from a database.

Thanks and well done guys !

Ease of use
It a simple process of selecting the data on the old site, downloading the file, uploading to the new site and completing the migration.

I bought this over 1 year ago. When I finally migrated, I had some problems with my data file but Barnaby helped me migrate data. Thanks.
100
Documentation
Very easy to follow.
100
Value for money
For what this does, it's an absolute snip.
I used this to: Migrating a huge number of files from an old J1.5 site to my new J3.3.x.
Although I had problems not related to the extension, Barnaby still helped me through the process and helped recreate the new template specific modules that I lost in the migration. Excellent support.

Excellent Events Calendar - Simple to Use

Posted on 21 June 2014
I initially downloaded the 'lite' version to try out the product before purchase.

I had some compatibility problems with my template and contacted the developers who, although I hadn't paid anything, helped resolve all my problems.

I then bought the Pro version and am delighted with the extra features - especially the ability to totally customise the module(s) to my client's brand colours.

I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking a light-weight yet full function event calendar. The admin is so simple to use that even non-tech clients are able to keep their events up to date.

And finally - a big thank-you Web-Dorado for their fast response and high level of support.

David ;-)

Love this product

Hi Matthew

I have used FeedGator for quite a while now to pull in news stories from a variety of music news feeds to a blues club website so club members can keep up with Blues News from around the world.

It has been simple to use and saves me heaps of time.

Now I've just upgraded to Joomla! 3 and would love to continue using Feedgator, but I see it only works on J2.5

So my question, Matthew, is - are you planning a J3 version and if so, when?
Owner's reply: Today!
