List of supported Custom Fields

File Upload
A Drag & Drop File Upload Field that allows you to upload any kind of files in the backend and display a download link in the front-end. Define an upload folder, limit the total number of files the user is allowed to upload, limit maximum allowed size for each uploaded file and restrict the allowed file types.

YouTube Field
The YouTube Field allows you to enter a YouTube URL in the backend and display a YouTube Video Player in the front-end. The YouTube Field provides you with all of the customization options of the YouTube player such as YouTube Video width and height, YouTube AutoPlay feature, YouTube video controls.

HTML5 Video
Create a field to display an HTML5 video player that can play a local or a remote video (MP4, Ogg, WebM) file.

HTML5 Audio

Закриває всі потреби у наявності додаткових полів. Мені особливо було потрібно поле файл, протестував майже 5 різних планів

Ease of use

Легко ставиться, ніяких помилок або додаткових дій. В інших плагінів розробник навіть просив вносити зміни в пхп файли шаблона

Functionality

Adds new dimensions to the already powerful custom fields, offering 15 or so field types which aren't included in the Joomla core.

Ease of use

Just pick the field type off the list, and you're good to go, Some template over rides can interfere.

Support

EXCELLENT, Tassos answered my inquiry in about 24 hours, and he is LOTS of time zones away from me.

Documentation

Haven't really seen any, but there are helpful tool tips on all of the internal fields which go a long way toward making setup easier.

I used this to: Lots of web site forms, galleries, articles, video pages, portfolio's, etc.

Functionality

I'm building a website for a client who wants 'simplicity' on every page, including the gallery with a lightbox display and image captions.

Ease of use

This is a plug-in - simply upload and run, and it's ready and available. Adding images is simply by 'click and select' - couldn't be easier.

Support

Tassos are easily contacted, not just for 'tech' support, but for advice and 'how-to' tips when needed. I've found them friendly and helpful

Documentation

Well documented user manual online, very useful and easy to undertsand.

I used this to: Client website galleries. Because it's such an easy to use plugin, I can show the user how it works in minutes and it's understood.

Very detailed documentation that explain everything you need to know.

Functionality

I purchased Advanced custom fields Pro to get the Paypal custom field option. It easily met my need.

Ease of use

Everything has been easy to use. Documentation helps a lot when stuck................

Support

Very fast and always help with info or a quick fix. Tassos has provided bug fixes within hours in 2 instances.

Documentation

Good - I've found info and good tips as part of it - for example, how to easily find latitude/longitude coordinates from google map.

I used this to: One site uses paypal field for a simple checkout for individual products. Another site uses google map to show location to a musician's gigs. I also use the timepicker on several sites. Need to explore the others further.

I can find what I need very smoothly, especially in user fields, so I used Joomla core with extra choices
