DPCalendar is a fast and accessible native Joomla calendar and event manager with Google calendar integration. It makes the most of all the Joomla features that any online Joomla calendar and event manager should, such as ajax powered event browsing/manipulation, drag'n drop, front end editing, nested calendars, CalDAV and ACL support. Ich bin ja nur Gelegenheitsanwender mit Joomla, aber bin ich sofort klar damit gekommen, trotz der ungeheuren Funktionsvielfalt. - Super!

Kurz einlesen und schon klappt alles

und falls man mal trotzdem nicht weiterkommt - der Support ist Klasse!

Extremely adaptable to integrate in existing websites. Great solution!

Functionality
Neither too complex nor too simplistic. With free DPfields we can add fields to events, calendars and even Joomla articles and user profiles
Ease of use
Very easy to use and adapt to specific requirements. Very similar to standard Joomla interface.
Support
Excellent support. Found a few bugs which were fixed within a day or two. Support is very responsive.
Documentation
Documentation is very good, sometimes a little bit too technical, but still easy to understand.
Value for money
Nowadays I prefer to spend some money for extensions and securing future development and support than risking one days wonders.
I used this to: I needed an event manager to integrate into an existing website for a church with quite complex requirements (multiple communities with separate calendar management blending events in one common upcoming events component and module). Plugin to integrate events into articles.

Fast Service and Reliable Calendar System

Functionality
I've been using DPCalendar since the early days of gCalendar. The solution has always been solid, reliable and flexible.
Ease of use
The system is very simple to use, and it can tackle more complex issues like importing iCal and Google calendars.
Support
Last night I was stuck due to my own template override. I submitted a support request and had a solution waiting for me this morning.
Documentation
The documentation is pretty good.
Value for money
I think the system is a good value because it's one of the extensions I can just set and forget. It just works for my clients.
I used this to: Sports team websites with low-tech volunteer admin users. If something is complicated, they tell me about it (alot). I don't hear any negative feedback about the calendar system from any of them.

Most of the parameters can be paramtrized by Menus. Everything is documented and explanations are inline.

I had to contact the support a couple of times. The reaction time and qualtity of support was always 100%

Awesome Calendar. Provides everything we need for our website. I tried several and this had everything we needed and it was free!
Ease of use
The calendar is very user friendly. I tried several other calendars I couldn't get to work properly. This one has been a breeze!
Value for money
It's amazing program/tool to be provided for free.
I used this to: I'm using this for a non profit dog club website. We needed a calendar to arrange meetings, upcoming dog shows and events. I had tried several other calendars and none of them can compare to the DPCalendar. It's visually beautiful, easy to install and use. Thank you for this!
